As there’s only 1 game left I’ve ranked the players by their teams clean sheet odds from 1 bookmaker.  I’ve then added, when applicable, a premium defender, cheap defender and a goalkeeper together with their FPL  price as of Saturday the 12th May.

If there is an (R) next to him then there is some element of gametime risk attached to him but that will be picked up in the narrative

Liverpool need to get at least a point to be assured of a top 4 spot if you assume Chelsea win their game in pursuit.  That has to mean a full strength team.  However Klopp has rotated his full backs.  The Champions League final game is not for 13 days after so you’d think Alexander Arnold and Robertson would both start but Van Dijk is the safer choice for me

For Man Utd, Mourinho has named a number of fringe players that will start, Blind and Romero being 2 of them

Man City manager Pep Guardiola rested a number of players midweek and also as Southampton aren’t technically safe and Swansea not technically relegated due to goal difference I would think a strong team will be named.  Otamendi and Stones were rested midweek although the number of CB options means that I have risk flagged Stones.

Chelsea need to win to have any chance of a top 4 spot so expect a  strong side.  Rudiger has started the last 4 but has missed the odd game.  I would be surprised if he didn’t start but I think Alonso is the safer and more explosive pick.

Palace is a fairly straightforward proposition of options as is Swansea.

Arsenal have a number of CB options which is why I have risk flagged Chambers but he was rested midweek and has started 6 of 9 games before that.

Burnley and West Ham both have uncertain goalkeeping options this weekend although the defence is more predictable.
