Line up commentary: for Fulham, Karagounis came in for Baird and Duff for Dejagh.  No surprises for Sunderland except Cattermole coming in for McLean and Laarson returning to the flank.

brief match comments:   Another game ruined by a sending off.   Fulham valiantly trie to take the game to Sunderland even with 10 men but just didnt have the luck when it mattered

possession: 55%  Sunderland

match shots: 18/13 to 12/9.  out shot by 10 men really says it all for Sunderland

defensive stats:     Fulhams defensive stats were surprisingly good. Sunderland even with the numerical advantage had poor stats

best shooting stats:   Petric Berba Sidwell and fletcher had the best stats

pen box touches:  Duff and Berba

most chances created: Duff Berba and Johnson

most forward midfielders for each team:  Duff and Johnson

most involved players in attacking areas for each team:  Berba.  Fletcher /Johnson

player commentary:    Fulham have difficult fixtures coming up with Stoke and Chelsea away next.  Defensively you shouldn’t be looking at them. in midfield there’s no option now cheapie Kacaniklic looks injured.  Berba’s your only option and I would look elsewhere with the fixtures.

Sunderland have very good fixtures including 2 games in round 16 so anyone you’ve got I would tend to hold on to.  The defence isn’t really up to it and has poor stats but Cuellar is a good cheap prospect as a £4.5m filler while they have good fixtures.  In the midfield and attack only fetcher has shown returns and as you know he’s never got near the shooting charts and just doesn’t plain shoot enough so I wouldn’t take anything from this game against a defence one man short.
