Important note before going further
The first schedule ranks players by their NON penalty underlying stats and expected assists converted to FPL points in GW1-24 . Those who have taken penalties or are expected to be the penalty taker have an * next to their name
The form gives their ranking from the season/last 10 gameweeks/ last 5 gameweeks. I’ve put them in seperate columns so they are sortable
There’s no fixture ease ranking due to the changes in DGW26. I do say whether they have a potential DGW BGW. As I write this the fixtures have yet to be announced.
The value for money VFM ratio is the total expected points from their underlying stats divided by their price
The 2nd schedule shows their xG90 (expected goals) and xA90 (expected assists) plus their shots per 90 and key passes per 90 and their average minutes played (when they appear) over the season.
There’s also no anytime goalscorer odds as there are none for the 2nd game.
I’ve already posted the defender rankings and you can see GW19 attacking defender rankings
Player values and PPMs are as of Wednesday 24 February .
The schedule ranked by Midfielders NON penalty underlying stats over GW1-25
Here is the link to the google spreadsheet. You can go to file>make a copy and then sort it how you like. 800 mins needed to qualify. Underlying Stats are from the free site understat.com
A few comments
Players not in the schedule
Their rankings are in brackets
Players not in the schedule due to injury are:
Zaha (10) Grealish and Maddison are doubts but I’ve included them
Players not in there due to gametime risk:
Trezeguet (21), Pulisic (26)
Players who didn’t make the minutes threshold but appeared reasonably high in the last 10 or last 5:
Loftus Cheek 16th in the last 10 and 19th in the last 5
Lingard 26th in the last 10
Pereira WBA 11th in last 5, Fraser 12th Gross 15th and MacAllister 16th all last 5
Mane
Very good underlying stats. Mane usually over performs but is currently significantly under performing. Could be a sign that improvement of returns is coming.
Grealish, Son, Rashford and James Rodriguez
Underlying stats have deteriorated over the last 10 gameweeks quite significantly compared to season stats
Maddison, Barnes, Gundogan, Aubameyang and Foden
Underlying stats have improved over the last 10 gameweeks quite significantly compared to season stats
Fixture Ease
Here’s a schedule ranking their fixtures over the next 5 gameweeks by the ease of the defences they face
