The schedule ranked by Midfielders underlying stats over the last 10 Gameweeks
FEase is fixture ease ranking, PPM points per match, ATGS anytime goalscorer odds and VFM value for money (9+ wanted unless they are a potential captain)
Here is the link to the google spreadsheet. You can go to file>make a copy and then sort it how you like. 300 mins needed to qualify. Underlying Stats are from the free site understat.com
A couple players to comment on
The information in the schedule should be enough to make an assessment on a player for a transfer but there’s a couple of players who would benefit from a few words
If you want more info on the potential DGW35 and BGW36 read my early team thoughts article
I also put an imaginary wildcard in the FFGeek Patreon site which may also help your transfer thoughts
Mane
Has been producing really good underlying stats in volume and quality. Just cannot put the ball in the net. In previous season’s that’s been a strength and he’s over performed his stats. Now he’s underperforming significantly
Fernandes
It’s 1 goal and 1 assist in the last 8 gameweeks. However the last 5 gameweeks have seen him produce really good underlying stats from a quality and volume perspective so it seems like an upturn should occur. Could be in the mix as a captain favourite in the potential DGW35
Players who missed out due to injury doubts
There would be ranking is the number next to them
Ranphina 3 and Neto 20
Players who missed out due to gametime risk
There would be ranking is the number next to them
9 Raheem Sterling, 10 Kai Havertz, 11 Kevin De Bruyne, 18 Ilkay Gündogan, 19 Riyad Mahrez, 22 Ferrán Torres, 27 Anwar El Ghazi, 24 Bernardo Silva
Players of interest who’s missed out due to the stats being insufficent
Saka was 33rd on an average of 80 minutes so probably a fair assessement given the rotation risk due to the Europa League
Maddison was 37th on an average of 63 minutes. If he had averaged 80 minutes he would have been 27th.
Zaha was 47th on an average of 80 minutes.
2 players in Aubameyang 4 and Pepe 17 also missed out as there stats were distorted by 1 game or by sub appearances distorting the numbers
