Here’s  the fantasy premier league news updates – Tuesday 29 January 2013 including Ballotelli, QPR, GW27 and lineup and injury news for GW24

Ballotelli

Mario Balotelli was not seen among a party of Manchester City players arriving at Stockport station on Monday as they prepared to travel south ahead of their fixture against QPR

Rumours continue that he will be leaving for AC Milan.  If Dzeko is in the line up today this will give an extra boost to those looking to get coverage  of the City attack without having to spend a load of cash.  He’s still only £7.5m.  Interesting that Physio room have him with an illness returning tonight

QPR

Warring Queens Park Rangers players had to be kept apart in an astonishing dressing-room bust-up after their crushing FA Cup defeat by MK Dons at the weekend.

probably some journalistic hyperbole here but its not surprising.  Hughes tried to introduce a whole new team sidelining the old guard and Harry has come in and reintroduced them.  Tensions could undermine their relegation fight to Citys benefit tonight.  They have performed defensive heroics at home but whether the team spirit is there to continue it remains to be seen

GW27

Liverpool and Swansea’s game is cancelled due to Swansea being in the capital one cup final  which means sometime soon after there will be a double game week for both.  Think about this in your planning.  Suddenly Davies and Rangel look good cheap defenders with a double game week potentially.  Suarez or Michu are probably the natural captains when it happens.

Lineup and injury news

  • Bassong is fit for selection.  Bennett will be the victim.  Turner should hold his place
  • Enrique Johnson and Reina all available for Arsenal game.  Looks to be the end for cheapie Wisdom and GK Jones
  • Geoff Cameron is expected to be fit for Stoke.  Wilson 9 Feb on physioroom
  •  Do Prado will miss next few games for Southampton.  Good news for fantasy premier league cheapie favourite Puncheon as these 2 can be interchangeable
  • Lallana could potentially be fit.  Jack cork maybe the one to miss out no need to worry though away to Utd is ot the time to introduce him plus Saints have poor fixtures
  • Nastasic  doubt for tonight.  Check the line up before transferring him
  • Defoe expected to play on Wednesday against Norwich
  • Luiz looking unlikely to play
  • Mirallas wont be fit.  Anicehebe or Naismith the beneficiarys
  • Cuellar unlikely to be fit for Sunderland.  check the line up before transferring him in
  • Cabaye not expected to be fit.  check line up
  • Remy expected to be fit.  check the line up
  • Long maybe fit for Wednesday.  I’d still bank on Lukaku holding his place although Clarke is not predictable
  • No fit West Ham defence virtually as Reid and Collins out for Wednesday.  Good news for Demel owners as despite appalling performance at Arsenal he probably cant be dropped.  Carroll maybe fit but doubtful whether he will start
  • Vermaelen and Arteta maybe back.  Stay with Gibbs or Sagna don’t get drawn into the CB rotation
  • Richardson maybe back .  Even harder to think that cheapie Kacaniklic will get a regular place now
  • Gallas could be back.  Either him or Dawson could start with Vertonghen.  Caulker was poor against Leeds and may have moved down the pecking order.
  • No return date for Cech.  Turnbull offers a cheap short term route in to the Chelsea defence

Thats it, remember its 19.30 UK time tonight to make your transfers and the following 4 games should have their lineups out before hand.
