A FEW COMMENTS

Luiz and Lovren are on 4 yellow cards and need to get through GW19 without a yellow card to avoid suspension

Vertonghen is suspended for 1 game for Spurs

£4.6m CB Klavan is currently in the Liverpool team but should be shortly be replaced by Matip who has said he won’t be going to AFCON

£4.3m WBA LB Nyom has also said he wont be going to AFCON.  I have seen some talk of them being suspended over that period but I have to confess as to being unsure if this is possible.  Comments welcome

Crystal Palace have now Tony Pulis wannabe Big Sam in charge of them and there are expectations of defensive improvement or at least defensive attitude

Both Sunderland CBs Djilobodji and Kone are going to AFCON which has to cast doubt on selection and whatever defensive ability they have left.

With Bob Bradley sacked from Swansea selection is now uncertain not that it was ever certain with Bradley making Tinkerman Ranieri look like Mr Consistent Selection

Interestingly Maguire for Hull has posted some good underlying attacking stats.  Selection has been positive but has to come with risk.  Dawson is the safer pick

With Stones injured and fixture congestion who knows what defensive lineup Guardiola will put out for Man City

Everton CB £4.0m Holgate looks an interesting if risky pick for the future so worth monitoring as they were very solid against Leicester with him in the team.  I would have thought the back 3 would be Funes Mori, Williams and Jagielka
