Here’s our fantasy premier league site live article where if you somehow haven’t realised the FPL site is now open. It all happened as I was in bed in New Zealand. Here’s a few notables before I start on early team drafts

So I’m sure you’ve now realised and done a load of tinkering but just in case you haven’t the site is now open and we can start messing about with our draft teams. I will be doing an early draft in the next article and then throwing a few contributors ones at you. But here’s a few general thoughts
Rules changes
Cant see any changes except the gameweek deadline is now 90 minutes before kick off of the first game rather than 1 hour previously. That should stop all the early leaked team stuff which I think is good overall. I personally would have gone to 2 hours but at least it’s something.
The possible staggered start for teams
The European competition could mean that some teams start later than gameweek 1 from what I’ve been hearing. I’m going to ignore this until there are more details and then I wouldn’t be surprised if the fantasy premier league site comes up with a way of dealing with it easily as they did for the restart.
Just to give a bit of context, it seems if United and City win the next round in Europe they could miss GW1 to give players sufficient rest and it potentially goes further.
Positional changes
These are copied from the FPL twitter site. Wide forwards in 4-3-3 previously classified as forwards are now midfielders. Aubameyang the most notable
Forwards to midfielders
• P-E Aubameyang (ARS)
• Gabriel Martinelli (ARS)
• Anthony Gordon (EVE)
• Mason Greenwood (MUN)
• Marcus Rashford (MUN)
• Diogo Jota (WOL
Midfielders to forwards
• Keinan Davis (AVL)
• Indiana Vassilev (AVL)
• Richarlison (EVE)
• Anthony Martial (MUN)
• Callum Robinson (SHU)
• Michail Antonio (WHU)
Defender to Midfield
I had to find these
Lundstram
Ritchie
Couldn’t see any midfielders to defenders.
A few notable prices
No comments just putting them out there as either important players or surprising prices either negative. It doesn’t mean I’ve recommended them just they are notable.
