Fantasy Premier League, ffgeek teams

Here’s my fantasy premier league team selection GW11 article. As is normal, I review GW10, the transfer thoughts, captain choice and the lineup dilemmas.

Firstly if you’re new to the site my last 3 seasons overall ranks are 36k, 17k and 21k.

GW10 review

I went into alot of detail in my early thoughts on the early FFGeek team article about GW10 so I won’t repeat that. Here’s the points and the basic stats:

GW10 points: 46 (FPL average 49) Total points 516, Gameweek rank 3797k, Overall Rank: 1,273k, red arrow 275k, Team Value: £101.4m

Here’s the points:

Another big fall in overall rank of around 200k to 1.273 million.

Transfer thoughts

2 free transfers and £0.1m in the bank.

I went through a number of scenarios and none are ideal, especially as I would like to bring back Salah for GW14 when Liverpool are home to Brighton.

In the end I went to stop the potential immediate issue of Vardy.  Despite my misgivings about him he looks set to become a template player and therefore I’m going to bring him in this week.

I had the choice of Aubameyang or Wilson and in the end I decided to remove Wilson for Vardy although it wasn’t an easy call.

To fund it I only really had 1 choice which was Otamendi out for Rico which fitted perfectly.

So the transfer is Vardy and Rico in for Wilson and Otamendi

Lineup issues

Pretty straightforward

The bench becomes Rico then Cantwell with the injured Cleverley last

Captain

I’ve gone for Sterling with De Bruyne as vice.  You can see my captain analysis article for details

Good luck everyone!
