Introduction

Firstly if you’re new to the site my last 4 seasons overall ranks are 17k, 36k, 17k and 21k.

GW11

GW11 points: 82 (FPL average 62) Total points 631, Overall Rank: 1,216k, green arrow  463k Team Value: £100.6m

I used my wildcard in GW9

Here’s the points:

So a 463k green arrow to 631 points and 1.216m overall rank.

With 9 returners I was hoping to halve my rank from 1.6m to 800k so to end up at 1.2 million was very disappointing.  The Salah, Kane and Son double point hauls that others got were the reason

Transfer thoughts

2 free transfers and £1.3m in the bank

With Salah so far ahead in the captain poll and up against Fulham I’ve decided to get him in no matter what.

My original plan was a straight swap effectively with Bruno Fernandes but such is his last 3 game form and his ownership amongst serious managers and the 10 top managers I follow I’ve decided to keep him and look for other avenues.

I looked at two options where the difference was essentially whether to get rid of Van Aanholt for Dallas or Calvert Lewin for Watkins/Wilson.

The Covid situation at Newcastle has spooked me a little in that who knows what team they could put out so I’ve decided to go the Van Aanholt route and stick with Calvert Lewin for the moment.

So the transfers are:

Van Aanholt out Dallas in

Bissouma out Salah in

Vardy out Brewster in

I don’t like taking Vardy out for a good fixture but really there was little other way of funding it

Captain

Salah with De Bruyne vice is the choice here

Lineup.

The only choice to make was Dallas vs Soucek as Masuaku is injured.  I’ve gone with Soucek as his anytime goalscoring odds were very slightly better than the Leeds clean sheet odds

Here’s the team:

Good luck everyone!

  1. again, i asked the other day, but why dallas over the other leeds defenders if hes just a bench warmer, could save 0.1 or 0.2

  2. @KFC FPL, he’s been playing as a midfielder the last few games hence a higher chance of an attacking return. However, he’s playing at the back this week.
Seems starting Soucek was the right call since he’s scored
