Introduction
This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

GW10 review
Another strong GW for me. It has been 3 good ones on the bounce.
I transferred in 2 players in each of them and all 6 have returned on their debuts.
I have changed my strategy a bit. Last season I had mediocre returns on the captaincy. I have been putting more focus the captaincy this season.
GW10, I transferred in De Bruyne and Dias. They repaid my trust with 20 points and 6 points respectively.
I had a hunch that Spurs and Chelsea would cancel each other and this enabled Dier (6) and Chilwell (8) to get clean sheets. Mourinho relishes the tactical challenge of playing the top sides. He prioritises defence so I think Dier is a good asset and won’t be leaving my team despite Spurs’ difficult upcoming fixtures.
Matching KDB’s 10 points in midfield were Fernandez and Grealish.
Up top all three strikers blanked. However, it was a small miracle that there was only one goal in the Everton vs Leeds match with Calvert Lewin, Bamford and Rodriguez all blanking. But I saw enough to keep faith with them.
GW11
The big news is that Aston Villa’s clash with Newcastle has been postponed. I don’t have any easy substitution to make to replace Martinez so I am going to play with 10 players this GW. Normally I play with 2 goalies and look to doing that after I play my WC.
Grealish is going to warm my bench this GW.
My plan is to get Salah as a captain option in GW12 so I am rolling my transfer
Transfer Summary:
Holding my transfer
Captain will be De Bruyne. Fulham are looking more organised at the back but I hope he has now found some form
Future Plans
At the moment I plan to sell Kane and Rodriguez for Salah and Watkins/Wilson and rotate the captaincy between De Bruyne and Salah until GW 15 and then play my WC in GW16.
Here’s the team assuming no transfers are made:
Avishek Majumdar
Avishek’s last 3 seasons are 13k, 45k and 64k
GW10 points: 61 -4 (FPL average 44), Total points: 587, Overall Rank: 630k, green arrow: 176k, Team Value: £102.2m
Avishek has used his wildcard
4 back to back green arrows from 1.9m to 630k is definitely progress in the right direction and the target from here is to be within 100k by GW 20. In terms of transfers, the hit paid off immediately with Jota Vardy both returning although De Bruyne out for Son would have been further profitable. But it is what it is.
GW 11 team
So the planned transfer was always going to be Son out for De Bruyne, and barring any last minute injury news I am going to make that move. The Villa blank is disappointing but I am just going to endure it for 1 GW as they still have a decent fixture run and I don’t see any reason to get rid of either Martinez or Grealish.
Armband will be on De Bruyne once I make the move.
Good luck and cheers!
Transfer summary: Son out De Bruyne in
Here is the team without the transfer being made.
Alex Ball
Alex’s last 6 seasons overall rank were 312k, 523k, 17k, 10k, 28k and 3k
GW10 points: 56 -4 (FPL average 44), Total points: 597, Overall Rank: 453k, green arrow: 38k, Team Value: £102.1m

transfer summary: likely Son to De Bruyne with De Bruyne becoming captain
Here’s the team prior to any transfer taking place
Ben Wooton
Ben’s last 4 seasons overall rank were 5k, 61k, 26k and 31k.
GW10 points: 66 (FPL average 44), Total points: 569 , Overall Rank: 1,059k, green arrow: 582k, Team Value: £102.7m

With a hit due to error with an early transfer on Wilson before the postponed game was announced!
Transfer summary: Reece James in for Targett and Wilson in for Richarlson
Cap De Bruyne
May take minus 8 if worries about starters get worse
Here’s the team with both the above transfers completed
