Fantasy premier league team tips GW35 – FFGeek contributors show their GW35 teams part 2

Here’s part 2 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.

You can see our part 1 contributors article here

Jordan Sadler

Jordan finished with an overall rank of 76k last season

GW34 points: 59  (average 54) Total points 2,100 Gameweek rank 2,364k, Overall Rank: 7k, green arrow 1k, Team Value: £104.7m

Jordan has used his wildcard, Free Hit and triple captain.

Gameweek 34 review

It was a bizarrely decent week for me last week even though I had a gameweek rank of nearly 2.4m. I went up 1.7k ranks with a score of 59 so I’m pretty happy with that as I’m now 7k. Going for the double Liverpool defence was a good call (if not somewhat a lucky one) as it gave me some solid points. I also had some fortune with Lacazette not playing as it meant McNeil came off the bench for 8 points. My other returners were Pogba with 15 after his two penalties, Mane with 9 and my captain Son something how managing to score 8 after only being on for like 6 minutes… The big disappointment for the week was my Wolves players only returning 1 point between them but had plenty of luck this week.

Transfers

Gone for something a bit different this week. Luiz out, Vertonghen in. Gives me the Vertonghen double fixture and Spurs do have a bit of a better run than of games than Chelsea. Don’t really expect any attacking returns but just hoping for clean sheet returns as I think Vertonghen is probably the most nailed player in that back four (though he’ll still probably be rotated at some point I bet).

Bench

Pereira has a decent fixture this week away at West Ham but everyone bar my 3 Liverpool players and Hazard have double gameweeks so he’s the first on my bench. Wan-Bissaka vs Arsenal away is my second substitute and McNeil vs Chelsea away is my third substitute.

Captain

I was going to say I’ve gone a bit left field this week only to then see that the player I picked is winning the captaincy poll… so yeah I’m going Jimenez as my captain this week. The only player I’d probably captain over him right now is Sterling but I don’t have him unfortunately.

Good luck for gameweek 35.

Transfer summary:  Luiz out Vertonghen in

Mikael Danielsen

Alex Ball

Alex finished in 17k last season 10k in 16/17 28k in 15/16 and 3k in 14/15

GW34 points: 45 on WC (average 54) Total points 1886 Gameweek rank 4,390k, Overall Rank: 483k, red arrow 68k, Team Value: £105.2m

Alex has used his triple captain and free hit and his wildcard. He is bench boosting this week.

I’ve yet to decide on my transfers and it could be a last minute thing.  It may be Eriksen, Laporte and Deeney to De Bruyne, Bednarek and Rashford or Duffy and Deeney to Bednerak and Wilson

Here’s the team pre transfers:

Sergio Torija

Sergio finished with an OR of 17k last season and 21k in 16/17

GW34 points: 46 on WC (average 54) Total points 1,831 Gameweek rank 4,243k, Overall Rank: 915k,  red arrow 110k, Team Value: £100.6m

Sergio has used his free hit and his wildcard.  He is triple captaining this week

That was a proper disappointment of gameweek after tailoring the wildcard towards it plus this week’s double. A gameweek rank of 4 million and red arrow of 100K is poor. The main guys all delivered some points, but obviously the bad outcome was down to the trust in Brighton. What an awful two games from them! So what to do next: Do I go ahead with the bench boost plan this week, which is composed of a single weeker plus the same 3 Brighton players but with tough away fixtures? Or do I switch horses halfway and play the triple captain this week and the bench boost next hoping for a Brighton clean sheet next week home to Newcastle?

Eventually, I’ve decided for the second option, even that there is not even a clear triple captain option. Aubameyang it is, no much clever reasoning on it, likely he starts off the bench one game, whatever, he can be explosive, he had a great double last year, please go do something!

Good luck for GW35 Geekers !

Prakhar has used his free hit chip and his wildcard.  He is bench boosting this week.

Transfer summary:Mane in for De Bruyne.
