Fantasy premier league team tips GW36 – FFGeek contributors show their GW36 teams part 2

Here’s part 2 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.

You can see our part 1 contributors article here

Keith Spencer

Keith finished with a 3k OR last season, an incredible OR of 325 in 16/17 and 9k in 15/16.

He is one of the 10 top FPL managers I follow weekly who’ve finished the last 3 seasons in the top 10k OR.

Stephen has his triple captain left.

Review – Couldn’t have asked for a better recovery from the previous week. 131 points, I think my best every gameweek rank and a climb to 66k (from 153k last week). pretty much everyone returned. Only Valery and Jimenez didn’t. My transfer to bring in Gray for the suspended Deeney paid off.

Preview – I haven’t decided on my transfer this week but I think it will most likely be Eriksen to Mane. I want Liverpool attacking coverage for the next couple of weeks and I will struggle to get Salah. Eriksen could score well against West Ham so this isn’t without risk but Liverpool assets will be popular captains and even triple captains this week. I still have the triple captain chip and I will use it either on Sterling/Aguero at home to Leicester next week or Mane this week if I bring him in.

Tricky lineup selections. I have opted for Ryan over Foster as I think Newcastle won’t have the same intensity as Brighton now they are safe. Plus Brighton will be fighting for their survival. Despite the fact I fancy Southampton for the win, I’ve had to leave their 2 assets on the bench. Duffy makes the 3rd bench slot. Despite my belief of a Brighton clean sheet, I didn’t want to risk the double up and I couldn’t drop my other defenders.

Here’s my team pre any transfers

Prakhar Patel

Prakhar finished in 17th overall in fantasy premier league last season.  An amazing achievement

Alex Ball

Alex finished in 17k last season 10k in 16/17 28k in 15/16 and 3k in 14/15

How Brighton managed to transform into a team that kept one superb clean sheet (and almost another) away from home will continue to baffle me for some time. It’s almost like they were messing with all of us FPL managers! Playing the bench boost would have been quite marvelous last week, so let’s hope the good luck stays with me as I activate it this week. A bit strange maybe, but my squad needed freshening up and everyone should be nailed on to start (hoping that Schar is available, which he should be according to the latest news).

Transfers are Deulofeu and Aguero in for Aubameyang and De Bruyne. Arsenal have been so awful lately that I promised myself that I will not have any Arsenal players in my team next season!

Captain Mane, obviously..

Cheers,

Mikael
