Firstly here’s the draft team with commentary below

Fantasy Premier League Teams

Brighton

Brighton have great fixtures going on until GW 8. So £4.5m GK Sanchez and £4.5m Defender Lamptey are in. I still think they need another striker to take advantage of the great start they have so this might change in the future and I might add a forward or midfielder.

Liverpool

They have great fixtures and rested players so I will be doubling up with £7.5m Alexander Arnold and £12.5m Salah. I thought about £7.5m Jota, however, I did not want to be hamstrung by one team playing in the Champions League as they have mid-week games in between GWs 4 and 5, 6 and 7, and 8 and 9.

Manchester United

£12.0m Bruno Fernandes is in and this will be familiar to most. Another FPL Beast. I think Shaw is underpriced; however, I believe he will not be match fit when the season starts so I am thinking around GW3 or 4. If they sign Varane. I will get him possibly quicker.

Manchester City

£8.0m Phil Foden and £6.0 Ruben Dias are Value picks for price and I think the way Foden finished the year this is his break out season.

Value Picks

All of my other picks I believe are value picks and I think they will do better than their starting price tag. £6.5m Toney is in. Besides value at the present he is the most owned forward in the game.

Others are:

Lamptey – BHA, Raphina – LEE, Watkins – AVL, Nacho – LEI (Could be Antonio)

Bench

Duffy – BHA. Even if Ben White goes to Arsenal I think it’s doubtful Duffy will be in the back 3. More likely to be Veltman or Burn. However I don’t need 3 starting bench outfield players so this is to save funds.

Gilmour – NOR. The best of the £4.5m mids for me

Fofana – LEI – As Geek says probably needs a back 3 to play but I’ll monitor that in preseason

Hope this gave you some ideas for your draft teams
