Introduction

It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends.

However the FFGeek team, the Transfer Planner Team and the Contributor Tracker team Plus the Contributor teams of Rob, Rick, Andrew, Kris, Kev and Joe mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make notified transfers live as they are completed. So you’re always up to date and live for a maximum £3 PCM.

The reference to 19 top managers is from the article where I follow 19 top FPL managers who have finished in the top 10k overall rank the last 3 seasons.

Literally the gameweek from hell, everyone got around 20-30 points yet the red arrow is huge 600k red to 2.5mil- nothing really to analyse when I have just one returning player in Bowen.

I have a transfer curse going on currently with both Gabriel and Tsimikas in the last 2 GWs being benched. In Cyprus we have a saying that bad things come in 3s so im a bit worried this gameweek as well.

The team is on a difficult position with the aforementioned two benchings plus Darwin that is always a benching risk and three flags! Haaland does look to be fine but Cash and Maddison especially huge concerns. Cash I planned getting out soon anyway but no biggy.   Maddison on the other hand was close to season keeper.

Two scenarios going on now

If maddison is ok and Cash is injured then I get Saliba for him and double up on the Arsenal Def.

If Cash is ok and Maddison injured I get Bruno Fernandes for two weeks and then switch to Mbeumo GW14.

Now if Darwin plays a full game midweek I could hit some players out as I don’t want to be fielding Taylor vs Arsenal away

Will tweet my plans before the deadline

Transfer summary:  to be determined

Here’s the team prior to any transfers being made

GW11 review

After the weekend matches, my FPL team had yet to outscore Jeremy Doku and I only had two players remaining in the Spurs-Chelsea fixture. It’s fair to say that things were looking bleak from an FPL perspective. I then witnessed the crazy scenes on Monday night while sitting in the South stand at Spurs and I can’t say that I got much enjoyment from the series of unfortunate events that impacted us. However, there was a minimal amount of respite via the double-digit return from Palmer which somehow meant there was a small green arrow for my FPL team.

My only other return was an assist from Mbeumo and I am still in shock that this was enough for a rise in rank. If I had followed the advice of my Transfer Planner, I could have had an even better week by playing Maguire over Gabriel. Overall though, I have to be relieved with a green arrow in an extremely peculiar gameweek and it’s time to quickly move onto the next.

You can see the full article, including LIVE NOTIFIED transfers, lineup and captains on the FFGeek Patreon site wide forward tier for only £3 pcm with loads of other content mentioned above. GW11 review:

I returned from a 2 week study holiday in Manchester, I took advantage of it negatively by being at the stadium and seeing my United defeat in the derby…

In any case, let’s start off by saying 2 things:

A) I missed the gw11 deadline for the first time in my life since I started playing this game, due to the double time change and a positive force majeure situation…

B) this year is definitely the worst year of my life since I played (and it was obvious that this was the case as it is the first year that I have become a contributor to the site), the interesting thing that explains my position is that I have never had the player who scored the most points of the week on my roster until now;

I wrote this to give you a bit of an overview of the situation and to essentially apologize if the last 2 reports were too short (from this week they will be copious again), due to the fact that I didn’t have my computer with me;

It was a low scoring week, characterized by the fact that everyone had only 1 return (my Gordon) one of the few right bets this year is proving to be the best value for money prospect (apart from Palmer perhaps I, was surprised that he kicked a penalty with James on the field).

Gameweek 11 review:

Well a totally bonkers week when FPL points were in scarce supply for many managers, the average being only 30 points, Haaland, Salah and Son all blanked, a few potential injuries to deal with, lots of VAR controversy, three late stoppage time game deciders, the only two unbeaten records went, and a quite astonishing final game at Spurs !!

Incredibly, both Haaland and Alvarez blanked in Man City’s 6-1 win v Bournemouth which sent them to the top of the table. The big Norwegian departed at half time injured as Bernardo Silva scored twice and Doku had a remarkable four assists to add to his goal in a 22 point haul.

Salah and Darwin both blanked too v Luton, as the Hatters were denied a shock win with a last gasp goal from Luis Diaz. Arsenal suffered their first defeat in a fiesty game at Newcastle in which the only goal was reviewed for four different reasons ( !! ) by VAR before eventually being cleared.

A last minute goal from Bruno saw off Fulham and eased the pressure on Ten Haag, Sheff Utd finally got their first win thanks to a penalty in the 10th minute of added time v Wolves. Burnley lost their sixth successive home game, beaten by Palace, Forest tamed free scoring Villa 2-0. Brentford edged a five goal thriller v West Ham and Everton were pegged back by a late Brighton equaliser.

Which left Spurs v Chelsea on Monday, which was one of the craziest games ever, Spurs losing their unbeaten record after being reduced to nine men, but almost pulled off a draw, with a brave effort, until two late goals saw Jackson score a hat trick !!
