Introduction

I’m still using 20/21 stats with adjustments where necessary for player transfers. That will continue until around GW6-10. I’m not making any huge adjustments on the basis of the few gameweeks so far.

The strength of the defence or attacking teams are based on the averages of their expected goals for/against and their actual goals for/against with a general adjustment for home and away. . The teams are then divided up into 5 colours of 8 home/away teams each.

Player values and PPMs are as of Monday 27 September and before the Palace v Brighton match

Attacking player stats from teams with the best fixtures

Here I’ve picked out the 4 teams with the best fixtures. They are Chelsea, Leeds, Burnley and Wolves

Chelsea

It’s worth noting that no attacking mid has started all 6 games and that will continue. Apart from Lukaku I think the 2 mids who generally play behind him in Havertz and Mount are the best picks. You just have to accept rotation. Also check UCL lineup midweek

£11.7m Fwd Lukaku – 20/21 PPM n/a. 21/22 PPM 5.4

£7.4m Mid Mount – 20/21 PPM 4.1 21/22 PPM 3.8 (check injury update)

£8.2m Mid Havertz – 20/21 PPM 3.4 21/22 PPM 3.0

Leeds

Both players below need their fitness checked for GW7

£7.9m Fwd Bamford – 20/21 PPM 5.1. 21/22 PPM 4.2

£6.5m Mid Raphinha – 20/21 PPM 4.4 21/22 PPM 4.7

Burnley

£6.8m Fwd Wood – 20/21 PPM 4.2 21/22 PPM 3.2

Wolves

£7.5m Fwd Jimenez – 20/21 PPM 4.3. 21/22 PPM 2.7

Defender and GK player stats

Here I’ve picked out the 4 teams with the best fixtures. They are Chelsea, Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton

Chelsea

20/21 – 2nd equal ranked for clean sheets with 18. 2nd ranked for goals conceded. 2nd ranked xG conceded.

Both Alonso (although without a fully fit Chilwell) and Rudiger have started all 6 PL games although rotation will always be an issue. As I said above check the midweek UCL lineup for clues

Def £5.6m Rudiger – 20/21 PPM 4.9 21/22 PPM 5.7

Def £5.9m Alonso – 20/21 PPM 4.4 21/22 PPM 6.5

GK Mendy £6.0m – 20/21 PPM 4.5 21/22 PPM 5.6

Leeds

20/21 – 5th equal for clean sheets with 12. 14th ranked for goals conceded. 18th ranked xG conceded.

As I write this Ayling is an injury doubt

GK Meslier £5.0m – 20/21 PPM 4.4 21/22 PPM 2.2

Def Cooper £4.5m – 20/21 PPM 2.4 21/22 PPM 1.2

Newcastle

20/21 – 18th equal ranked for clean sheets with 7. 16th ranked for goals conceded. 16th ranked xG conceded.

Should be ignored unless you want to gamble on £4.0m Manquillo who’s started the last 3 after being behind to Murphy for some time

Southampton

Entry point should be GW9 v Burnley

20/21 – 15th equal ranked for clean sheets with 9. 19th ranked for goals conceded. 14th ranked xG conceded.

GK McCarthy £4.5m – 20/21 PPM 3.1 21/22 PPM 3.3

Def Livramento £4.2m – 20/21 PPM na 21/22 PPM 2.8
