Here is our fantasy premier league tips article where we concentrate on each teams top PPM player and give our view on their future prospects. I also say how the individual player performed in the FFGeek team. This article focuses on Leicester and Liverpool.

Leicester – Jamie Vardy £9.7m
The Leicester forwards season has been a season of 2 parts. The first part was up to game 18 when it seemed like he just couldn’t miss and he was massively overshooting his underlying stats. He then missed 2 games through injury. After that he got 1 assist in 6 starts before missing the plum match vs Norwich. He then corrected it to some extent by coming off the bench and scoring twice vs Vila. This latter part was a natural correction of someone who was destroying his underlying stats. He still is but at not such a ridiculous level.
His last 10 gameweek forward player ranking would have been 7th if he had been adjusted to his usual 90 minutes playing time.
The question is what returns we will see over the rest of the season. He has shown he can over perform his stats so continuing at what is a reasonably acceptable level could work out but the fixtures aren’t great. Whether you want that question hanging over a £9.7m player is another thing.
The FFGeek team use
I’ve had Vardy in for 16 gameweeks at an average PPM of 5.8. Below his 6.4 average but still nothing to cry about. As a captain he was the second most successful one after Salah with an average of 10.5 points.
I have transferred him out a few gameweeks ago as I wanted Jimenez, the Leicester fixtures aren’t great to the end of the season and I already have Harvey Barnes. Barnes at £6.2m as an attacking player is the best alternative option for me.
Liverpool – Mo Salah £12.7m
What more can you say about Salah? The most total points of everyone in FPL. Only Bruno Fernandes has a better PPM but that’s on only 400 minutes of playing time. Best underlying stats when it comes to converting them to FPL points. He also takes pens when Milner is off the pitch and his shooting volumes are incredible. Only Aguero and Jesus shoot more per 90 minutes. If he took set pieces he would be perfect.
The FFGeek team use
Amazingly I think I’ve only had him for 14 gameweeks despite being a big fan. I had him for the first 8 games of the season and then between GW24-29. He did me proud with an average of 7.7 PPM above his average of 6.4. As a captain including the triple his average as captain was 24.
It’s hard to imagine that I won’t have him to the end of the season subject to rotation
A fixture ease schedule for attacking players
Here’s a graphic where the teams are ranked by the ease of the defences for the remaining outstanding fixtures to the end of the season. Ignore GW36-38 and just look at them as a block for the end of the season which could quite frankly end up in any order
