fantasy premier league tips – who to replace Michu with?

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s a few fantasy premier league tips with options on who to bring in for Michu.  I’ve looked at prices for round about £9.0m and below.I’m not transferring early by the way, too many games to go and too many imponderables at this stage of the season

 Walcott £8.8m

Home to Wigan and Away to Newcastle

2 good fixtures with sides that will be forced to attack should they go behind suiting Arsenals and Walcotts counter attacking style.  Up to the QPR game the stats had dropped off a little but the QPR game saw the return of his best form.  Podolski pulling away to the left makes space for Walcott in the centre . No rotation risk will definitely play both games

Nasri  £8.2m

Away Reading Home to Norwich

The fixtures don’t come any juicier than that.  Its just a question of whether he will play.  Will definitely play in the FA Cup final and has had so much bench time  this year he’s in prime position to play the rest of the games especially with Silva being thrashed this year and last.  If he is rested for the WBA home game on Tuesday then there’s even more chance he will play the last 2 games.  Hasn’t had that great underlying stats but it is 23 points in his last 4 games. Personally I’m backing him to play both games given his form and the lack of game time this year.  Has a game on Tuesday so don’t transfer early.

Coutinho £6.7m

Fulham A QPR H

19 points in his last 4 starts.  Certain to play and showing good shooting stats as well as the ability to create chances for others.  Pretty good opposition and playing in a forward position around Sturridge.

Oscar £7.8m

Away to Villa Home to Everton

Good recent underlying stats and 25 points in his last 4.  Playing well forward.  Negatives are the Rafa rotation policy given he will probably almost certainly play in the Europa league final and the fact that Chelsea could have guaranteed a top 4 place should they beat Spurs.  The solid defence of Everton is also not helpful.  Plays on Wednesday so don’t transfer early.

Lallana £5.6m

Sunderland A Stoke H

Not the easiest of fixtures but playing far up the pitch and has had a reasonable set of stats.  Only 10 points in his last 4 stats but definitely has potential

Hope that gives you some food for thought.  I’ve ruled out Fellaini as the last game is away to Chelsea and Nolan as next week is home to Everton
