fantasy premier league transfer deadline day 31 August 2012 part 2

News

Here’s part 2 of the comings and goings including Moutinho, LLoris, Javi Garcia, Richardson, Mbia

Richardson to Fulham

Part time LB and midfielder Richardson moves to Fulham.  Its a worry for fantasy premier league managers holding Kacaniklic so I wouldn’t rush in and buy him as a replacement for Guthrie this week.  It looks like Rose from Spurs will be the LB but unfortunately he’s a midfielder in Barclays in fantasy premier league so nothing doing there. In telegraph fantasy football he’s also a mid but a cheap one at £2.6m

Moutinho to Spurs

Just when you think Sigurdsson is guaranteed starts along comes Moutinho.  Actually thats not true he  seems a replacement for Modric not VDV/Siggy.   I can see the midfield ultimately being Moutinho Parker and Siggy with Sandro being a casualty and upfront Bale Adebayor and Lennon. Unfortunately that means no place for Dembele  so that looks an issue.  Moutinho though looks a fantasy non event on Porto stats with last year 17 starts with 3 goal and no assists and the year before 26 starts with no goals and no assists which would even make Britton blush.

Lloris to Spurs

Anyone who was holding Friedel was kidding themselves and although not complete yet, I totally expect it to.  yo cant title challenge with a GK of his age and no realistic cover.

Javi Garcia to City

Straight swap for De Jong.  14 starts last year 3 as sub for  1 goal and no assist for Benfica says it all.  fantasy premier league  no interest except for those thinking for some reason of Rodwell.

Mbia to QPR

Really? how many people are they going to sign.  Who knows what the QPR line up will be tomorrow good thing its away to city so of no consequence which is the first of a few difficult fixtures in order for us to see if there are any bargains.  A versatile Marseille defender by all accounts.  Anyone holding Nelsen on my earlier cheapie recommendation must be crying sorry

There will be at least 1 more tonight so keep in touch
