Here’s the FFGeek team for GW12 in our fantasy premier league transfer tips article. As usual we look at the transfers and dilemmas plus the team selection and captain issues. We also see how the bookies rate the team to see it’s prospects.
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TRANSFER TIPS – THE FFGEEK TEAM FOR GW12
LAST WEEK
It was a tale of 2 contrasting days and it all seems like an age ago. Chelsea ran riot on the Saturday and Liverpool on the Sunday. Luckily for me the the Sunday virtually cancelled out the disastrous Saturday and there was a small red arrow of 3k overall rank to 98K overall and 603 points
Here’s the team from last week:
Last week my transfer in was Coutinho in for what was at the time a potentially injured Walcott. It worked out well with 11 points and is the 2nd transfer in a row with double digit returns. If you want to go back in time here was my thought process .Also here’s the link to the article if you want to see how the top 10 FPL managers I follow scored in GW11.
TRANSFERS THIS WEEK
If you read the earlier articles you’ll see that I made an early transfer of Sanchez out Hazard in. The intention is to bring Walcott back in next week for some good Arsenal fixtures
I’ve only used 1 of my transfers as I need the 1 up my sleeve to get Walcott in next week. Alonso was the big question but even leaving Walcott aside Arsenal have Bournemouth West Ham and Stoke after GW12. All have clean sheet potential.
Coutinho is potentially injured but too valuable to ditch especially as Liverpool are home to Sunderland next week
Here’s how the team lines up for this gameweek. 1 transfer in hand. £1.3m in the bank and a team value of £103.0m
TEAM SELECTION DECISIONS
No issues this week. With Holebas suspended and Amat not being selected there was no choice in the lineup. The GK went with instinct of Foster over Pickford as well as the clean sheet odds. Save points though do mean that with the GK clean sheet odds aren’t everything but still going for Foster here.
BOOKIES TEAM RATING
An average over £2.54 is good. 2 players in the team at £3.00 or over is good. Only 2 players under £2.00 isn’t great. Realistically only Aguero, Lukaku, Hazard and Firmino are ever going under the £2.00 mark. Maybe Coutinho but he’s normally a little behind Firmino.
CAPTAIN CHOICE
Have yet to do an article so gone for the FFGeek poll leader of Aguero
