FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE TRANSFER TIPS GW13 – THE FFGEEK TEAM FOR GW13
LAST WEEK
Last week was nothing short of a disastrous week. Only 1 returning player in GK Foster. Costa was the killer. I started the week 98k overall rank and after Saturday the damage wasn’t too bad at 122k but after the Sunday and 1 game only it was £170k. It stayed pretty neutral after Sunday to 174k.

TRANSFERS THIS WEEK
My transfer this week was debated long and hard. It was always going to be Walcott for Arsenals 3 games against Bournemouth, West Ham and Stoke. Unfortunately a mysterious toe injury which somehow allowed him to play the last 10 minutes against PSG plus the continued delay around his baby has made him a gametime risk for GW13. The game is on Sunday to to make it worse. Unfortunately Allen who will go as a sacrifice will drop in price tonight so I don’t even have the luxury of waiting for tomorrow.
The 2nd part of this is getting in Harry Kane for GW14 against Swansea then Hull home in GW16 and Burnley home in GW17.
That will only happen with a hit and a cheapie 3rd striker if I want to keep my midfield trio and the Arsenal Spurs defence for those good fixtures.
I’ve tried so many variations to this. The closest I’ve come is getting in Giroud for Lukaku and then just leaving the problem until next week. However he’s even more of a gametime risk and one that could negate the 3 good fixtures because he could be an ongoing gametime risk . I could just ignore Aresnal and Walcott and go for the security of Sigurdsson or Mata both of who have good fixtures. However Arsenals are really good fixtures.
This wouldn’t be so bad if the make weight I needed to get this in is Victor Anichebe for Lukaku therefore adding another player with gametime risk. Then add in the injury risk to Aguero and you’ve got a decent potential gametime problem on your hands. Selling Aguero would solve everything but it’s step too far just yet. I would need his ownership and captain threat to dip a little more before I contemplated that.
The safe option would be Siggy or Mata and waving good by to the gametime risk but sometimes you’ve just got to go with it. So while most of the world will be transferring him out I’ll be transferring Walcott in.
I’m going to leave it to later tonight and I’ll confirm on twitter when it’s done. Here’s how it looks £3.5m in the bank then next week is the Kane transfer for a 4 point hit. My first of the season
Then for GW14 a 4 point hit would be necessary to get Kane in. The likely target being Williams. That would leave a pretty slim £4.2m for a replacement defender. The market there is very thin let me tell you!
TEAM SELECTION DECISIONS
Assuming I play Anichebe rather than 4-4-2, the bookies believe the best 3 defence is Mustafi, Holebas and Amat with Williams first bench and Vertonghen 2nd, Given the patched up nature of the Spurs defence with Aldo injured and Rose suspended for GW13 I’ll probably go for that.

An average over £2.50 is good. 3 players in the team at £3.00 or over is ok. 3 players under £2.00 is good. This week though is about who gets out on the pitch not the first team line up
CAPTAIN CHOICE
With the Aguero injury risk it’s either going to be Coutinho or Firmino
