fantasy premier league transfers GW33 – 2 to buy, 2 to sell, 2 to hold and 2 differentials

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s a short article to help you with any of your last minute fantasy premier league transfer decisions.   It’s a short article with a few players mentioned and only a short paragraph on each rather than loads of stats.  Detail can be found on most players in the “ones to watch” articles or in the case of sells possibly in my “bandwagons and sinking ships”  article.  The players are meant to be permanent buys not just for GW33.  Dominated by DGW34 players as I think this is where you should be looking in GW33.  It just restricts the option’s so forgive me if it’s a little narrow on team focus

2 To Buy for fantasy premier league transfers GW33

YYT

I know it sounds incredible obvious but you really should own him.  Even if you’re chasing people looking for differentials his 46% ownership and pen duties while Aguero is off will kill you everytime he scores.  A DGW34 coming up is not the time to avoid him.  As I said even if you’re chasing people try and catch them in other areas.

Ward

GW34 looked at least a reasonable prospect for 1 game with Palace home to Villa.  With Benteke now injured it looks an even better prospect.  Sure the 2nd game is away to Everton but Ward at £4.3m  or Dann as a slightly cheaper version at £4.0m offer at least 1 good clean sheet prospect in the DGW.  So if you need  to downgrade a defender to raise cash then it makes sense to look at a Palace option.

2 to sell

Rooney

Apparently has a toe injury and will miss the Newcastle game and a doubt for Bayern.  Why are we being told in the middle of the night?  Was there a press conference we weren’t aware of?  Also has a blank in GW34 so either sell now or next week for Aguero or Lukaku if you can stand the inevitable price drop

Nolan

Tough fixtures and lots of other midfield options makes it a time to sell now or next week for Adam Johnson

2 to hold

Hazard

While there is a chance he could be rested today home to Stoke is a very dangerous time to sell.  The man with 8 hauls of 10 points or more could explode at anytime. He also has some pretty good fixtures left including Norwich and Cardiff in the last 2

Adam Johnson

People are selling Adam Johnson in abundance.  I guess 2 consecutive sub appearances could make that.  While the 2 DGWs aren’t easy and Sunderland aren’t exactly the best attacking team in the world but on his day Adam Johnson can be fantastic.  He scored 52 points in 4 games and while thats nearly 50% of his season total it shows what he can do.  Poyet virtually admitted he made a mistake benching him and even if he does still against Spurs I think he’s worth the gamble for the DGWs.  Plus if you’re still holding him now that whats a couple of weeks more…

2 differentials

Silva (8.4%)

Still a differential despite going into a DGW next week in great form and potentially behind the striker.  YYT is the priority in my mind but if you can afford him Silva is an excellent addition.  Remember to plan how you can get Aguero in though if you’re doing this

Kompany (4.6%)

Zabaleta is the popular defensive City purchase.  Kompany far less so.  Kompany is more injury prone and Zabaleta has a constant attacking presence down the right flank.  Kompany is good at set pieces and has 3 goals this season.  Zabaleta has 5 assists.  Bonus points are relatively similar.  However in theory Richards is fit and it’s possible, if unlikely, Zabaleta could be rested later on for one of the DGWs
