Introduction

I’ve literally just activated the wildcard and as it’s now 11pm I won’t be putting a long post but will put a long one on the site tomorrow with my usual article. So I’ll just put the team out with some very basic comments underneath.

Here’s a reminder of last week from my early thoughts on the FFGeek Team article and to show you where I’m at and my history if it’s the first time on the site

GW30 review

GW29 points 55 (FPL average 25) Total points 1,951, Overall Rank: 40k, red arrow 4k.  Team Value: £103.7m

I’ve used my Free Hit Chip and the Bench Boost Chip

My last 4 seasons overall ranks are 17k, 36k, 17k and 21k.

Here’s the activated wildcard draft

So the only differences between the non activated draft in the early FFGeek team thoughts article was Kabak was downgraded to Phillips and Lingard upgraded to Jota.

I still am not sure about Raphinha. He’s been excellent but the fixtures aren’t great. I would have liked Lingard but too difficult to get in as well. If I sell Son after DGW32 he could be a target then.

I probably will swap Martinez for Mendy but I wasn’t ready to committ as I have money tied up in him.

I did alot of trying to get Alexander Arnold in my team but it just didn’t work so I’m hoping Phillip covers the clean sheet at least.

Ignore the bench lineup. It was too late to try and set it properly. I’ll do that in my final article on Friday

Hope your wildcard is going well. Both my 1st wildcard and my bench boost have been disasters so lets hope for better here
