This article brings together the various earlier articles in the week.

In this article I’m pretending I’m using my wildcard to give you player picks with more longevity than the next game.

I’ve given links to articles below with all the detailed stats you’ll need if you want to investigate a player in more detail.

Player rankings defence and GK

Player rankings midfielders

Forward player rankings

There’s also our fixture ease article which gives player suggestions with good fixtures. You can also see who the popular transfers are in our bandwagons article .

You can also see Rob Reids wildcard drafts and Costas’s wildcard drafts as well as how Keith Spencer dealt with the Alexander Arnold and Harry Kane injuries.

Lastly you can see how the 10 top managers I follow have in their teams

My value at the moment is a fairly low £102.2m and this team is higher at roughly £103.8m

Structure

The structure is very flexible with every player able to contribute depending on fixtures

Goalkeeper

After last week I’ve returned to Fabianksi.  West Ham may not be a clean sheet monster of a team but when they do Fabianski is normally in the mix for saves and bonus points.  For goalkeepers only Etheridge has more bonus points (courtesy of some penalty saves) and no one has made more saves.  Of the cheaper GKs only Etheridge has more points.

With Guaita and Hennessey injured I took the opportunity to add Speroni into the team for value and you may get a game or two out of him if needed

Defence

With 2 excellent fixtures coming up the Man Utd defence seems worth the gamble at a price of £4.8m for Lindelof.

With Lovren, Alexander Arnold and Gomez injured I’ve gone for the premium Liverpool defender in Robertson.

The Everton defence doesn’t represent great value clean sheet wise but they have a good run of fixtures and Digne‘s attacking potential plus his set piece duties sees him in the team

Doherty has just been a fantastic attacking addition within the best cheap defence in the league as I see it.

Wan Bissaka is a steal at the price. Palace have 8 clean sheets and only 3 defenders have more bonus points.  He even managed the incredible feat of 3 bonus points v Watford despite no clean sheet or attacking return

Midfield

Pogba with a good run of fixtures still represents excellent value for me

Deulofeu playing striker represents good value even if the fixtures are a tad mixed.

Salah needs little explanation playing regularly as a CF and with penalties when Milner is off the pitch.

Sane is a tricky one as is picking any City midfielder.  However the next 2 fixtures make the gamble worthwhile.  It could be that with Mendy back soon that Pep will use him until then and rotate him heavily afterwards.  But in reality it’s just a theory and who knows what goes on in Pep’s mind.  De Bryune is a very similar price if you think he’s likely to start regularly now he’s fit.

Lastly there’s Richarlison. I rated Sigurdsson higher in my midfield rankings article but given Richarlisons popularity I see him as the safer choice although it will be interesting to see how transferred out he is by the 10 top managers I follow

Forwards

Rashford is in good form and has good fixtures ahead.  Hard to see him being displaced on that current form despite the competition and the emergence of Sanchez

I can see some eye rolling going on from readers when they read Ings and it’s true he has been injury cursed, has produced questionable underlying stats recently after a great start and isn’t exactly guaranteed 90 minutes.  However on the plus side he does have pens and a decent run of fixtures.  Plus he’s cheap enough to sit on the bench when not needed.

Lastly there’s Aubameyang who has a good run of fixtures with Chelsea and Man City chucked in as bumps

GW27 and  Everton v Man City

GW27 is when the EFL final is and clashing PL games will be postponed. Everton v City is obviously going to go after City’s 9-0 win in the first leg semi. One of Chelsea v Brighton or Burnley v Spurs will then go depending on who wins their tie.

Now it’s not out of the question that they could bring it forward but more likely given last season that it’s postponed outwards. Just something to think about. The above team has Digne, Richarlison and Sane pretty definitely postponed.  There are no others at risk
