Here I go through the debate of whether to Wildcard or not after 2 fairly say we say “challenging” rounds. I go through the thought process for and against.
Here’s our fantasy premier league GW3 bandwagons and sinking ships article where we outline our view on the 5 most transferred in and out players so far in the gameweek. The sinking ship picture seemed more appropriate at the moment.
Well with price rises imminent then there was a need to do a transfer tonight so here goes
Here’s part 1 of our article where we analyse the teams of 10 top FPL managers. These are just not the current top 10 but 10 managers who’ve been successful over the last 3 years. Again I’ve tweaked the 10 top managers hoping to find the best 10 I can so the stats are a little different. The 10 managers have only been outside the top 10 once in the last 3 years (30 times playing FPL). The article is all about giving you another view point other than mine. This is part 1 where we give the team selection information. After the games have completed we will then outline the scores. Again if you’re feeling bad about your scores going in to Sunday you’re not the only one as you will see from the majority of these guys teams
Well there are very few times that a transfer could have been less satisfying than this gameweek. Here’s my fantasy premier league tips article where I outline my transfer for GW2 and the cogitating behind it, the team selection dilemmas and the captain choice
Here’s our short form captain choice where we look at the bookies view, other FPL advice sites polls, any of the top 10 managers I follow and the FFGeek view. I will try and do the long versions as much as I can but this week as a Friday lockout is impossible
Here’s the first article for the season where we pretend we have a wildcard to use for the upcoming gameweek. Don’t get me wrong I’m not advocating using a wildcard at this stage. I think it would be very wasteful. It’s just a way of showing you some players for the weeks ahead. They are how you would consider a transfer if you were making one and will give you ideas for the longer term rather than just 1 game . In the narrative I also make other suggestions to help you with your transfer thoughts
Having a high ownership captain favourite not in my team is not my idea of fun but an idea of stress as I wait to see my rank plummett as the player scores a hat trick. In retrospect I wish I hadn’t changed last minute before GW1 to Aguero as I now face the prospect of going into GW2 without Benteke against what looked like a pretty ordinary defensive team in Bournemouth. The ease of which Gestede won the header at a corner to score against Bournemouth didn’t help the position either. However I’m not one to bury my head in the sand or pretend I didn’t make a mistake so in this article I’m going to navigate through the captain choices going forward just to see how I deal with the situation and not make it worse. It’s only a short article but it also may help you to look at the Captain prospects ahead
Here’s the 2nd part of our top 10 FPL managers article. The 2nd part is all in italics so you don’t have to read the whole article again. If you were feeling a bit down after your start then seeing how these managers also struggled in GW1 may make you feel better. In part 2 we’ve basically added on the scores of the 10 managers. I also got a couple of the midfield numbers in the teams slightly wrong so I’ve fixed that.
Here’s the first part of our regular article where we analyse the teams of 10 top FPL managers. These are just the current top 10 but 10 managers that have been successful over the last 3 years. At the moment the 10 aren’t the final 10 I would like to have but the best I can come up with at the moment and their stats over the last 3 years are none the less very impressive. The 10 managers have only finished out side the top 10k 5 times in the last 3 years (ie 30 times playing FPL). The article is all about giving you a view point other than mine and giving you some comfort if they have selected or not a player you may have.
