If you read my team of the season 2 players in particular you would not have expected to be there at the beginning of the season were YYT and Ramsey. However on FPL points per minute they were miles ahead of any other midfielders, yet position and history wise they had no right to be there. So is now precdent turned up side down and how should we deal with it next season. One way would be to purchase players with an ownership threshold above a certain point to avoid massive hits to your ranking everytime they scored
Here’s a look at some players who instead of an extra month or 2 playing in sweltering heat on the other side of the world have spent 6 weeks resting and recuperating. They’ll also have a full preseason to prepare for the new season ahead. Below I’ve picked 10 players who are options who didn’t go to the World Cup.
In this article we take a look at how the World Cup could affect specific fantasy premier league players this year. Who could be faitgued? Who’s confidence will be up and who’s down? Plus an attempt to show all the players who participated in the World Cup from the premier league. Don’t be scared by the list I’ll also do players who didn’t participate and should be fresh for the new season.
You may have seen my article on team on the fantasy premier league team of the season. Here’s a slightly different spin. The fantasy premier league attacking players who have posted similar points per minute over the last 3 seasons. The idea here is to find out which players “do what they say on the tin” as the annoying advertisment goes or put another way the players who “give you what you pay for”
It’s easy to get excited at this time with the signings of new players. I’ve seen a lot of stuff on social networks regarding Sanchez and how he will be the first signing in their team. 2 years ago Hazard and Michu made an immediate impact. What of last year? How successful were the new players? We take a look at some of the midfielders and forwards that played their first year last season and how they got on. We’ll also look at their prospects for this season
Chelsea have signed the Brazilian born Spanish International Striker Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for £32m
To start the fantasy premier league articles for the new season for the first article I’ll look back on our fantasy premier league team of the season for last year.
With the World Cup coming to a climax and a just over week away from it’s end it’s time to start thinking of fantasy premier league again. This is our 3rd year and, as we did last year, we will be covering the Barclays fantasy premier league format, Sky Sports Fantasy Football, Telegraph fantasy football, Fox Sports fantasy Football and the Sun Dream Team. I am also thinking about doing a Championship version but I have yet to decide at the moment. Here’s how the pre-season will pan out.
Just a short message to thank everyone for this season and request some feedback on the site.
