Fantasy World Cup Group Transfers – Tuesday 19 June team updates

Here’s the games being played today:

Days and times in UK time:

1:00 PM Tuesday, June 19 Colombia vs Japan
4:00 PM Tuesday, June 19 Poland vs Senegal

The last game today is in Round 2 which is relevant only for the McDonalds format and I’ll talk about it below

Todays changes

You need to make captain changes and substitutions before the first game kicks off at 1pm

No captain change today for me after Lukaku yesterday.

2 substitutions Senegal defender Sabaly in for Onazi of Nigeria and Japan midfielder Honda in for Messi believe it or not.

Make sure you do your captain change and substiutions in the ROUND 1 tab not the Round 2 tab which is easy to get wrong

round 2 transfer plans

Firstly you’ll see above that the last game today is in round 2 so that means you need to make your transfers for round 2, on my reading, before that game starts.  That obviously includes any wildcard you do.  I think I’m right about the timing but I would suggest you do transfers as early as possible today for safety.

If you’re looking for stats on potential players for today here are my key articles.  You should check the playing status for each player from round 1 though for round 2 transfers

Rob Reids tips

My plan at the moment is to change Messi for Suarez.  The 2 big games next week are Uruguay v Saudi Arabia and England v Panama.

I’m not going to take a 4 point deduction.  Lukaku plays Tunisia so for me he stays and Jesus isn’t enough cash to change to Cavani

I haven’t ruled out  using my wildcard but if I do I will post the team at least on twitter but more likely on the website, twitter and facebook.

Here’s the team for round 1:

No transfers today.  I was planning on James Rodriguez of Colombia but I’ve decided to leave it.

In retrospect I think you can transfer as player for a game after the first 1 as long as the player out hasn’t played on the matchday and the player going in hasn’t on the match day.  Here’s the rules which I think I interpreted incorrectly at first.

An eligible transfer will take immediate effect and will occur if you transfer a Player out for another Player where neither the outgoing Player’s Country nor the incoming Player’s Country have played during that Match Day.
