Fanteam Tips – £1,000,000 Fantasy Premier League Season Long Game

FanTeam and the Scout Gaming Group announce the opening of their £1,000,000 Fantasy Premier League Season Game for the 2021/22 campaign with a €200,000 1st place prize.
This season, the entry to the £1M game will be set at £20/€23, keeping it in line with our Euro 2020 £1M game, but also is less then what was charged in 2020/21 (€25).
You can see my introduction article together with the rules and scoring. In essence though it’s quite close to FPL so you can play each other side by side.

Scott’s last 4 FPL seasons ORs were 12k, 15k, 1k and 12k
Scott’s running 2 teams

Stephens last 5 seasons in FPL ORs were 22k, 86k, 43k, 52k & 64k
This is my first draft for the Fanteam game. I’ve gone fairly big at the back with the 3 best defences in my view plus 2 keepers which rotate well for the first 8 weeks. 2 Premiums in Salah and Bruno and 3 mid/lower priced forwards where there are a lot of good options.
Barnes I think can take advantage of the points for shots on target as he tends to shoot a lot. Sarr is a cheap gamble who has some great fixtures to start and is involved most in Watford’s goals.
I am still debating whether to swap Azpilicueta to a 4.5 option and invest the 1.0m upgrading Toney but Toney’s price is very kind. Semedo has good fixtures from GW4 and is a more attacking representation of the Wolves defence for that time at a generous 4.5m price. He’ll occupy the bench for now. Dias vs Shaw is also a debate I’m having.

Both teams are very different to my FPL team so it should be interesting
