Here’s short post to let you know that I will be going on holiday early tomorrow and this will, most likely, be the last article I write before June 10 when the World Cup fantasy articles will start again. I’ll be doing the Telegraph version, Sun Dream Team and the Official FIFA McDonalds version.
FFGeek now on holiday – World Cup fantasy posts will start again on 10 June
Yes articles will stop now until the 10 June where they will restart with a flurry before the first match kick off on the 14 June 16.00 UK time. The timing’s not perfect I know but I am merely 1 person in a large group of the wifes family so the timing is what it is. Do not worry about coverage though. There will still close to 4 days before the kick off of the first match and on my return the posts will be flying out left right and centre with player suggestions and FFGeek teams
There’s a slight chance I may do an article or two while away but they if I do they are likely to just be introductory articles when the games formats are live rather than any player suggestions. The next week on holiday will see the wife, the dog and the odd pint of beer receiving attention rather than Neymar and Messi.
I’ve already started the telegraph league which has a £100 prize pool and I intend on playing the Sun Dream Team version which is yet to open and the FIFA McDonalds version which has also yet to open.
There’s just 1 question over the McDonalds version which is if it includes a whole load of additional stats such as tackles, shots on target, interceptions, crosses etc as it has before then I may have to think again. That’s not a definite no as there are ways of researching these stats but I want to put the best team out possible and it’s difficult to do that if all the additional stats have to be taken into account.
