FPL best fixtures GW25 – a fixture ease schedule for attacking players and defensive players

Methodology

The idea is to have 2 fixture ease schedules as teams don’t have the same quality of defence as they do attack. Take Arsenal for instance. One will rank the teams by the ease of the opposition defences they face over the upcoming games. That will be called the attackers fixture ease schedule. The 2nd will rank the teams by the ease of the attacking teams they face. This will be called the defenders fixture ease schedule.

I’ve taken the overall picture of an average of actual goals and expected goals from 21 games and made a general adjustment for home and away. This will be less volatile than basing a defence or attack on separate games home or away.

I have a fixture graphic below which I’ve colour coded for difficulty. It is just to improve the visual aspect of the schedule and the factors I’ve talked about above, rather than the just the colours, are basis for calculation.

Player values are Monday 27th January

Blanks and double gameweeks warning

You may have seen my article in the last couple of days on the blanks and doubles

The EFL cup final clashes with GW28 meaning there is likely to be postponements.  Where they go is yet to be determined.  For the moment I’ve left all fixtures as going ahead and later in the week once the EFL Cup semi finals 2nd legs have finished I can hopefully update it.  The fixtures are as follows Man City (3) Man Utd (1) and Aston Villa (1) Leicester (1).
