Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends.

GW36 review
78 points and a red arrow down to 1,126 which, with a lot of chips being played, I will definitely settle for. Things could have gone much better or much worse.
I had strongly considered bringing in a Palace defender last week but I’m pleased that I decided not to, giving me 2 FT’s going into this week.
Without going into any more detail, Arsenal kept a clean sheet so I was pleased to have doubled up on the Arsenal defence. Brighton also kept a CS and Groß got another assist. DCL scored a penalty but Pep went full roulette. The Semenyo to Cherki move did not work out well. It does give me funds for moves this week but I could have had the extra transfer and sold Semenyo this week if I had wanted to. I was at the City game so it was really disappointing to hear the team news that none of my 3 players were starting, however, at least I had compensation of seeing Cherki’s amazing run that provided the assist for Savinho’s goal.
GW37
This week I have a decision to make over the goalkeeper. Do I start the Leeds keeper with the home fixture but not a lot to play for or the Brighton keeper away at Leeds still chasing European football next year? It’s currently on the home team player but that could change. At the back it will be the Arsenal duo and, assuming no negative news after his omission from the City squad, Nico O’Reilly.
I might make a transfer in midfield. Everton are still chasing a European place so I am considering Nydiaye or Dewsbury-Hall. They have Sunderland at home this week followed by a trip to Spurs. Brentford are also chasing Europe and I’d really like to have Thiago at home to Crystal Palace although they go away to Liverpool for the final game. The advantage of buying KDH over Ndiaye is that it would leave me funds to move for Bowen in GW38 if I wanted to. I have considered Szboszlai but that would mean selling JP to fund Thiago so I think the KDH and Thiago moves are most likely.
Captain is currently on Saka. A home game against Burnley is difficult to ignore but I think Bruno F is an excellent shout too.
Transfer summary: Likely moves are Groß and Calvert Lewin OUT to Dewsbury-Hall and Thiago IN
Bench would be Struijk, Van Hecke and Tarvernier with the goalkeeper to be decided.

GW36 Review
Eugh so that was a painful one. I was expecting a red arrow this week with no chip in play but sadly that was worse than I’d hoped. It was more a case of who I didn’t play and didn’t have doing the damage unfortunately as I ended up with 8 returns; only Bruno, Saka and Gyokeres blanked.
The damage was done elsewhere – first of all Semenyo vs Cherki, this is a frustrating one. I benefited last week but am back to being in deficit on this despite Cherki’s late assist. The other issue is that it throws Cherki’s minutes into question for the rest of the season, especially with Doku and Foden hitting form. Then there was my bench – 19 points sat there with DCL and Hill both returning again. Finally there was the Haaland Triple Captain hitting me – this was expected and to be fair and could have been much worse if Haaland had got any minutes in the Palace fixture.
Time to regroup then. 2 weeks to go and I’m still well within my pre-season target of a top 100k finish. I’ve a 24 point buffer in this regard, but I’m only 20 points off the top 30k looking upwards too. I’ve also still got 2 free transfers this week and another one for GW38, so some minor tweaks and hopefully I can push back up the ranks again in these last 2 weeks. Here’s what I’m thinking for GW37….
