Here’s a quick FPL fixtures update on the fixtures after announcements on Friday for the “fans in grounds” scheme and speculation around the possible date for Man Utd v Liverpool to be played after yesterdays postponement

What has happened since Friday?

Firstly games have been rearranged in order to accommodate a “fans in grounds” proposal. That happened shortly before the gameweek deadline on Friday and was as I have outlined in my last fixture ease article. These have also been reflected on the fantasy premier league site

Secondly The Man Utd v Liverpool game was postponed after fans protests on Sunday. The logical move and one that has been mooted is to move the game into BGW36. That could be accommodated if Liverpool v WBA moved into DGW35. There was some talk that it could be played today, Monday the 3rd but that seems to have been ruled out.

The move mooted above would mean Liverpool have 2 games in a DGW35 and a game in blank GW36 and Man Utd continue to have 2 games in DGW35 and now also a game in GW36.

The fans in grounds proposal and the potential Man Utd v Liverpool postponement makes the fixture schedule look like this. They are ranked alphabetically for now. To reiterate this has not been announced and is not guaranteed

How does this affect things?

Firstly the potential rearrangement of Man Utd v Liverpool and Liverpool v WBA gives Liverpool a fantastic double v Southampton and WBA plus a game in the blank GW36.

If this happens Salah is likely to be a huge captain favourite

This should also turn GW35 into a massive double gameweek with far less fall out in blank GW36

Lets see the FFGeek team in a schedule form

As well as how it would affect my team before any transfers

fpl fixtures

That would mean I have 9 players with 2 fixtures in GW35 and 10 players with a fixture in GW36 even before I make any transfers this week

So what next?

Hopefully an announcement will be made on the Man Utd v Liverpool fixture date but I will be holding my transfers this week in the hope that the announcement is before Fridays deadline

Here’s the fixtures from the FPL site

Remember these fixtures only have the fans in the grounds proposal and not the Man Utd v Liverpool match where the rearrangement hasn’t been confirmed and I am reflecting the current thought out there
