Possible transfer targets for GW11

Here I’m trying to find transfer targets by finding a balance between a good next fixture, fixtures generally, defensive form in 20/21

Chelsea

The best defence at the moment and another good chance for a clean sheet against Leeds although they are a very attacking side.  Chilwell is my first choice although James now at £5.1m has played the last 5.

The GK Mendy is still good value at 5.2m

Man City

Burnley was the ideal entry point but Fulham is possibly even better.  Only Dias and the GK Ederson are safe picks for me unfortunately

Spurs

Showing good defensive form now and Regulion is a good attacking option as well.  Dier at £4.9m is the cheap option.

Liverpool

Could potentially be stripped of their entire back 5 if Robertson isn’t fit at the weekend.  A Wolves team without Jimenez is still a reasonable option.  Robertson is some price considering the injuries but a good attacking and bonus option.  With Milner and Alexander Arnold injured you’d think £3.9m Neco Williams would start unless he tries to fit another midfielder in there.

A fixture ease schedule for defensive players

Here’s a graphic where the teams are ranked by the ease of the attacking teams they face over the next 6 gameweeks.

The clean sheet schedule

My schedule tries to focus on the stats that will lead to clean sheets rather than clean sheets themselves but I thought it would be worth while getting the clean sheet schedule from the premier league site

Goalkeeper save %

Here’s another schedule which shows you a goalkeeper save %. It’s not a ranking in itself as you can see there’s no correlation between % and clean sheets but does give you some idea of GKs who are good shot stoppers. It’s from the free stats site fbref.com
