The Schedule

The schedule uses 20/21 stats only.

The teams are ranked by defensive strength only

You can access the google spreadsheet here

Player values and stats were Tuesday 6 April

Possible transfer targets

Man City

It’s always been thought that the most reliable gametime defender for City would be Dias and certainly GW30 didn’t do anything to dispel that theory. £6.0m Cancelo seems the most rotatable although the best attacking asset. Stones at £5.3m is the cheapest but again rotatable. You take your pick and roll the dice

Chelsea

I personally wouldn’t read too much into the chaos of the WBA sending off induced loss. Chelsea have been fantastic under Tuchel defensively. Wednesday’s Champions Leage lineup should give us a clue as to his first choice team but I would be surprised if Rudiger isn’t in it. Whether £4.7m Christensen starts ahead of Silva will be another point of interest. If you are willing to take benchings then £5.7m Alonso is possibly the best attacking defender in the league

Liverpool

The choice here is the attacking potential of Alexander Arnold or the cheaper CBs in £5.0m Kabak or even £4.0m Phllips who’s started 4 of the last 5. Liverpool’s lineup tonight vs Real Madrid will be interesting

Spurs

Just sounding Them out for their DGW32 which is Everton A and Southampton H

When you conceded 2 goals and 22 shots against a Newcastle side without Wilson then there’s something seriously wrong. The fact that they are 13th in xG conceded in the last 10 gameweeks also says alot. However if you believe that double gameweeks are there for rolling the dice then you may as well go all in on Reguilon. GK Lloris is the other option. He has a good save % and Spurs concede alot of shots. However clean sheets have been hard to come by and neither fixture for the DGW screams clean sheets either

Fixture Ease Schedule

Here’s a schedule where the teams are ranked by the easiness of the attacking teams they face over the gameweeks to the end of the season

The clean sheet schedule

My schedule tries to focus on the stats that will lead to clean sheets rather than clean sheets themselves but I thought it would be worth while getting the clean sheet schedule from the premier league site

Goalkeeper save %

Here’s another schedule which shows you a goalkeeper save %. It’s not a ranking in itself as you can see there is some correlation between % and clean sheets but does give you some idea of GKs who are good shot stoppers. It’s from the free stats site fbref.com
