Ori Gal

Ori’s last 4 seasons overall ranks are 82k, An incredible 243rd, 6k and 4k

GW9 points: 90 (19 Top managers average 88) Total points: 574 Overall Rank: 344k, Green arrow: 243k   Team Value: £102.8m

An OK week with 90 points. My 2 differentials of Alisson (8 points) and Solanke (7 points), reduced the pain of not having Watkins and Trippier.

Since my WC 2 weeks ago I went from 1.2m to 350k and had my first 2 green arrows of the year, so I am fairly happy with my WC.

There are a few players that I want to have: Watkins, Saka, Gabriel, Mitoma.

While I would love to have Watkins this week, I already have Haaland and Alvarez and I  am going to keep them as a) Haaland is my captain next week against Bournemouth AND I fully expect him to go big in at least one of the next few games b) Alvarez is one of the key City attackers and is a steal at his price.

My third striker is Solanke from my beloved AFC Bournemouth. He is playing Burnley. I want him in my team.

So no Watkins. Hopefully Diaby can cover. I know Diaby had a few blanks, but he could easily have 2 assists last week and I just love him as a player.

The goal this week is to bring an Arsenal player or two, and add a Brighton player next week.

I have 2 FT and 0.1m in the bank.

The big question is which Arsenal and Spurs midfielder I get.

I currently have Son and Maddison.

My preference for Arsenal is Saka. I can do a straight Son to Saka , and have Saka and Maddison.

The problem is that I prefer Son to Maddison.

I can do a straight Maddison to Martinelli (instead of Saka) OR do Maddison to Saka AND Udogie to a cheap defender (my other defenders are Cash, Burn, Coufal, Andersen (palace) so solid enough for the near future. If I do the last one it will more than likely result in a -4 next week in order to bring Mitoma.

I am currently leaning towards Son to Saka.

Another, unrelated transfer I do consider is Udogie to Gabriel (Alrsenal defence cover + he has some aerial threat).

Captain – Salah

VC – Haaland

Transfer summary:  to be determined

Here is the team prior to any transfers

Dave F – wildcard activated

Dave F last 3 overall ranks are 26k, 20k and 12k

GW9 points: 67 (19 Top managers average 88) Total points: 533 Overall Rank: 1,890k, red arrow: 486k   Team Value: £100.9m

Dave has activated his wildcard for GW10

Been going relatively ok the last couple weeks, but this past week got burned by not having any spurs attack. Don’t really plan on resolving that issue despite wildcarding this week as you’ll see but nonetheless has been a blind spot along with the lack of Trippier.

Mostly think this is where I will end up on wildcard although it’s very likely I move…..
