Here’s our FPL GW38 Team Selection article with the FFGeek Contributor Vote Team. Each week our expert Contributors vote on the transfer options allowing you to see the best player transfer options each week. 151k OR last season, 91k 23/24. Current OR – 13k!

FPL GW38 Team Selection – the FFGeek Contributor Vote Team for GW38 – 13K OR

Introduction

While the Contributor Vote Team had a tough start it finished strongly at 151k overall rank with a 91k overall rank the previous season

Given that strong finish I’m hopeful of a good rank this season with the aim being under 100k overall rank. We’re smashing that at 6k OR.

This is the final team but if there are any major unexpected injury news I will outline the changes in the comments. I will post to everyone in the slack channel and through a Patreon notification.

How the Contributor Vote Team works

Effectively transfers each week will be decided by the Contributors voting on transfer options that I’ve given them.

Wildcards and Chips will generally follow a pattern of when the majority of Contributors use them

Captains will be as per the FFGeek Patreon Captain Poll

The bench will be decided by the Joe’s Planners Projected Points for that Gameweek

Transfers are normally made on Friday

GW37 Review

GW37 points:  60 (20 Top managers average 57) Total points: 2,332, Overall Rank: 13k, red arrow 2k,   Team Value: £102.6m plus £0.3m ITB

Last season 151k and 91k Overall Rank 23/24

The team has used it’s TC, WC, BB and FH

Here’s the points

FPL GW38 Team selection

A small red arrow and unfortunately 4 consecutive ones from 4k OR in GW33

Saka, Bruno Fernandes and Calvert-Lewin were the only returners that provided positive Overall Rank with Haaland and Gabriel both over 100% EO

Gyokeres and Cherki were both benched which didn’t help. The last minute loss of the Brighton double clean sheet was mitigated by the fact that Calvert-Lewin busted it meaning the loss was effectively only 3 points.

NDiaye did virtually nothing vs Sunderland and City were no where near a CS vs Burnley although O’Reilly’s attacking performance could have seen a return
