Gameweek 4 review
Here’s the points
It’s normally very bad to double your overall rank but to 10 x it is something unheard of. That however was the gameweek from 26k Overall Rank to 267k.
There were 2 turning points and both were in the Sunderland v Arsenal game. The first one was White going off at half time injured. That meant I went from relatively ambivalent about the Arsenal clean sheet as many managers had 3 but I had 2, to wanting it positively wiped out. The perfect opportunity came up with the Sunderland penalty. That was saved by Raya. The triple clean sheet for many preserved including 14 points for Raya. My gameweek ended there in 2 very cruel twists of fate.
Not having Gross or Calvert-Lewin also hurt me big time. Rogers did as well.
A very humbling gameweek where I didn’t wildcard as I thought I had the Arsenal clean sheet and the Triple Chelsea attack pretty covered to an extent I was happy with.
