FPL Podcasts – the 2nd FFGeek Podcast with Joseph Crilley and Sergio Torija

Here’s our FPL podcasts article again with the 2nd FFGeek Podcast.  This time it’s myself,  Joseph Crilley and Sergio Torija who give their FPL season reviews.  We also take a close look at goalkeeper strategy and Joe’s favourite subject of Spurs.  There’s also a few words on Premier League transfers and VAR.

Before I get a load of comments.  Yes I now know that Daniel Craig is James Bond and Daniel James is the new Man Utd signing.  Apologies for stupidity 😬

A few things

Still only our 2nd podcast and a work in progress to get to a point where it is as good as it can be so bear that in mind.

Thanks very much to Joe and Sergio for participating.

Just click on the link below. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for listening. Btw it is still only SoundCloud but if you don’t have the app on your phone you can listen on your browser. I haven’t added it to any other formats as yet and I believe to listen off line you may need SoundCloud Go.

  1. Hi guys, do you know roughly when the new updated 19/20 FPL fantasy football game will be launched?

  2. Enjoying these podcasts, looking forward to them through the season. Really like the addition of the stats used to look at while listening too.

On the VAR introduction, the stats from other league suggest that there probably won’t be a big difference in penalties awarded, but what do you think might happen to headed goals from set pieces? I’m thinking there will be less grappling at corners as it would be easy to be pulled up for a penalty now, so less impeding of attackers, so more headed goals? Could make big centre backs better value than the full/wing backs that seem to be increasing in price? (And also make the set piece takers more valuable for added assists?)

  3. Hi guys great stuff, just relating for the GK , I went with premium GK since gw1, and had some ouck cause I started with Ederson when hs had more CS and than I changed for Allison in my WC so I had totally more points from GK than Allison had.. Ithink I will go for 2 liverpool defenders without Allison and I like premium GK maybe Lorris for 5.5 or Kepa than guess who will be the best 4.5 keeper, but it needs more monitor
