Introduction

It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live

Alon Shamir

Alon’s last 5 seasons overall ranks are 44k, 1k, 123k, 4k and 2k

Last week Son has basically saved my gameweek and helped me rise to 11K OR. My decision to bring Gundogan and not Bernardo Silva didn’t turn out too good, but I’m still having a great season so far and hope it continues this way now when the template breaks and things are about to go wild.

The COVID-19 break at Spurs is very unfortunate for me as I was so glad with Son and especially with his, now cancelled, 2 next fixtures. Except for him I also have Toney and Raphinha who should depart rather sooner than later, but I must prioritize Son as he holds the most funds in him and I am definitely not going to take a minus 8 (minus 4 is optional but I tend to avoid any hits whatsoever).

The possibilities for me are Bowen, Bernardo Silva, Foden, and Sterling (yes I know it’s surprising).
With Bowen I prefer to wait until GW18 and he would be able to come instead of Raphinha.
Foden would be my preferred choice but his fitness is questionable after being taken off as a precaution (as Pep declared) in the CL midweek. If he is said to be fit in the press conference later today I may very well end up bringing him in.
On Bernardo Silva I wrote for last week’s article but I want to add another interesting stat:
Silva has scored 5 out of his 7 goals this season in the last 6 gameweeks. His conversion rate during this period was 55.6%. I think he is a wonderful player having an extraordinary season and very well might be worth his price tag. But don’t fool yourself, he will not be even close to continue in this rate. For comparison, last season his conversion rate was 7%.
Sterling is a player who keeps my mind busy during the last few days. I know he is pricey and generally not worth the funds, but his form lately has been excellent, he produced very good stats, passes the eye test, and played close to 90 mins in the last 4 PL games. If Foden is injured I will be super tempted to go there, even if only for the short term.
By the way, I would take a hit to bring Bowen for Son and Ronaldo for Toney but I am about 0.2 short.

I am very unsure where I will go atm and will try to get some important news from the press conferences before deciding.

Anyway, my captain will be Salah that’s for sure.

Likely doing the moves I mentioned on pod. Raphinha to Bowen and Toney to King
If Klopp says Jota is out for a reasonable time as he was not pictures in training then might change but White an OK sub for this week anyway.

Gallagher goes to bench for King in my scenario

Transfer summary: Raphinha to Bowen and Toney to King

Avishek Majumdar

Avishek’s last 4 seasons ORs were 32k 13k, 45k and 64k

GW15 Points: 53 (FPL average 43) Total points: 974, Overall Rank: 88k, green arrow: 15k  Team Value: £103.8m

GW 16 team: Made early transfers due to price issues with 2 FT: Gallagher Wilson to Bernardo King. The Spurs Covid outbreak means Son and Reguilon could miss 2 games if not more, so debating a -4 for Son to Bowen. If I hold off I will have Mbeumo coming off my bench for Son but if there are more injuries/rotations I won’t have 11 players to field. Ideally I would have liked to get Ronaldo in two moves but a -8 at this point seem too much if I’m not captaining Ronaldo. Speaking of which, the armband is again on Salah and likely to stay that way unless we hear some rotation news. Vice is a tough one and if the Spurs game is officially called off I might put it on Bernardo.

Transfer summary: Gallagher and Wilson to Bernardo Silva and King. Debating a -4 for Son to Bowen.

Team looks a mess this week. I did 2 early transfers (never learn), then injuries and the Spurs Covid situation unfolded so did an extra one for -4.

Transfer Summary: IN Bernardo Silva, Broja, Ronaldo. OUT Raphinha, Pukki, Kane
Captain: Cancelo
