Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor Tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live
Note I am changing from FPL average to the post hits 12 top Managers average that I follow
Rick Porter
Rick’s last 5 seasons ORs were 1k, 29k, 1k, 30k and 2k.
GW33 points: 84 -4 on Bench Boost (12 Top managers average 80) Total points: 2,231, Overall Rank: 18k, green arrow: 2k Team Value: £104.7m
Rick has used 2 Free Hits, Wildcard, Bench Boost and Triple Captain Chip
A disappointing Bench Boost, but I’m not sure exactly how disappointing. I think I’d have played James anyway had I decided against the chip, so would have got his zero regardless. Same for the Spurs assets and their blanks. I definitely gained the Newcastle points from Schar and Dubravka, so I’m seeing it as 17 points up. 14 when you consider I took a hit to make the BB worthwhile. Whatever the case, it was enough for another small green arrow…I was just hoping for more.
GW34
With another DGW in front of us the focus shifts to Chelsea players. It looks like Rudiger will miss at least the first match, which weakens my team, but unless he’s injured long-term I’ll likely hold for now. I have no Man U assets but that doesn’t seem to matter, all I really need is a Chelsea attacker to captain. Annoyingly that’s going to mean a -4 (and the removal of a mid I don’t really want to lose) but I need the cover. At least I can start freeing up some money from my bench now that BB is out of the way.
Transfers
Even with Norwich up next, Wood is a waste of money. Dropping him to a permanent 3rd bencher like Gelhardt or Greenwood frees up enough cash to bump Maddison to Havertz for a hit and leaves enough in the pot to shift Rudiger to Cancelo next week if it looks like he’ll be missing multiple matches. Mount is the other option for Maddison (which would allow Pukki instead of a Leeds forward) but Havertz has just had his rest and is playing front and centre. Besides, the point of this -4 is to move maximum money to the pitch where it’s needed and bringing in Pukki doesn’t achieve that.
I hate taking another hit but I have to free up some bench cash at some point and the likelihood of me having an unneeded FT at any point between now and DGW36 is unlikely. I’ll wait until the last minute to make any transfers just in case other issues arise.
Captain
Assuming transfers go as planned it’ll be Havertz captain, Salah vice.
Transfer summary: Wood to Geldhart out or Sam Greenwood and Maddison out to Havertz
Here’s the team if the transfers were made
Alon Shamir
Alon’s last 5 seasons overall ranks are 44k, 1k, 123k, 4k and 2k
GW33 Points: 68 -4 (12 Top managers average 80) Total points: 2,210, Overall Rank: 30k, red arrow 7k. Team Value: £104.7m

Alon has used his Triple Captain Chip and his Free Hit Chip
This GW was bad. But good news is I’m on a Wildcard! 🎊
Many drafts have been made!
The main issue is whether to change Matip and Havertz to Alonso and Foden or go with the current draft and bring Foden somewhere before GW36.
Another option is downgrading Dennis to Mateta and starting with De Bruyne instead of Son (planning to make the switch back later probably).
Will decide tomorrow and update in my Twitter account. Hopefully the WC will give me a nice push before the season ends!
Transfer summary: Wildcard activated
Here’s a recent draft
Ben Wooton
Ben’s last 4 seasons ORs were 338k, 5k, 61k, 26k and 31k.
GW33 Points: 87 -4 on BB (12 top managers 80) Total points: 2,101, Overall Rank: 187k, green arrow: 33k Team Value: £104.5
Ben has used his wildcard, Triple Captain, Bench Boost and Free Hit 1
Salah cap cancelo vice
Wildcard plan for 36
Mateta risky in for Weghorst, aim to use cash left to upgrade Ramsey to Kulasevski. Then I will just play Kane for run in
Ramsey move not worth a hit so planning next week
Transfer summary: Mateta in for Weghorst
Here’s the team assuming the transfer is made
