Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live

A disappointing drop in rank this week. Especially galling as it was a direct result of the moves I made just before deadline. Removing Ronaldo for Toney was an immediate loss of 10 points and benching Gallagher meant I also missed out on his haul. Having so many points on the bench is irritating but had Chilwell been rotated and Raphinha not fully recovered I’d have had a great safety net. I should probably look at the strength of my bench as a good thing, as there will inevitably be weeks where I’ll need to rely on it.
Ultimately, my rank is still good, I had five players return, my score came in above the average, and the team looks in good shape with only a Man City-shaped hole of mild concern. It’s going pretty well.
Transfer
This week should be an easy roll. At the time of writing I have no injuries, good fixtures and a full playing bench. With the international break coming up, it would certainly be nice to have two FTs to deal with whatever issues arise. However, the injury to Firmino has meant I have to consider Jota. If Firmino is ruled out for 2-3 weeks it’s tempting to swap him in for Gray. I’ll decide on that after the conferences.
Bench
Having Jota will make an already difficult bench selection even tougher. I imagine I’ll bench White, Gallagher and Sissoko if that’s where I end up. What could possibly go wrong?
Captain
Salah captain, Vardy vice
Transfer summary: To be confirmed. Possibly Jota for Gray

GW10 review
Bit of a bittersweet one this week. A healthy green arrow – that’s 3 greens in the last 4 GWs and another 30% improvement in rank. In a week where you’ve also taken a points hit this is something to be celebrated.
Oh what could have been though! As is quite often the case in FPL, if I’d resisted the temptation to tinker and left Ronaldo in, I’d have got his 12 points rather than 2 from Antonio. As for the other move, I’ve no regrets selling Omobamidele for Chilwell as the Norwich man would have been nowhere near my first team, but a 22 point deficit on the 2 transfers with hit included does burn a bit. The other burn was Gallagher’s 13 points sitting in position 1 on my bench, but again no regrets there – Palace players were never going near my first 11 this week and fair play to The Eagles for a fantastic display at the Ethiad.
On the positive side, there were 6 returners this week. The 2 Arsenal boys got the gameweek off to a flyer. I may have missed Reece James’ monster haul, but having 2 playing Chelsea defenders did gain me more ground with Rudiger and Chilwell providing 14 points between them. There was an assist for Captain Mo and Raphinha chipped in with a nice 9 points on Sunday to secure a nice rise up the rankings. Much to be happy about.

1 free transfer and £2.9m in the bank.
I may have complained about the 22-point burn on last week’s transfers, but what taking a collective minus 8 over the last 2 gameweeks has done is really tidied my squad up and I feel like I can start to be proactive with my transfers again. The biggest dilemma I’ve got this week is not who to bring in as I’ve got plenty of players with good fixtures, it’s who to bench. It also leaves me in the nice position of being to roll a transfer into GW12 and have 2 frees coming out the international window where there are bound to be more injuries and probably more Covid issues no doubt. Oh and the small matter of Spurs’ fixture run turning very green under the guardianship of a certain Mr Conte.
Back to this week’s benching dilemma then. McArthur is certainly going to sit in position 3 on my bench and non-playing Steele will be my reserve keeper. My 2 Chelsea defenders will start and with such a high ceiling, I can’t see myself benching Alexander-Arnold. In midfield, Perma-Captain Salah and Smith-Rowe are certain starters as are Vardy and Toney up front with their respective fixtures. That leaves me having to bench 2 out of: Cancelo, Duffy, Gallagher, Raphinha and Antonio – not an easy choice. At the moment, I’m sat with Cancelo and Duffy in the bench spots but I’m going to survey the bookies odds and have a think about the balance between points ceilings, fixture difficulty and effective ownerships.
If I’m going EO, then Raphinha and Gallagher would be the bench spots. If I’m going bookie’s odds, Cancelo and Trent have the lowest clean sheet odds while Joe’s transfer planner (the team run by it is having a storming season by the way at 12k OR) projects that I should bench Gallagher and Duffy. Finally, if I’m going purely on fixture difficulty it would be Cancelo and Antonio! This will take some mulling over and I had a good chat with Geek on the Pod about it this week too. I’m not 100% sure yet and I’ll try and get my team on Twitter before the Friday deadline with my choice.
All the best for GW11 then folks – good luck and I hope you enjoy the games.

It was a week that I got all 50-50 decisions wrong 😑 hence the big red arrow! Hopefully I get them right this week
I went Foster instead of Ramsdale and was too exposed on Man City with Cancelo Foden and De Bruyne and we all know how that went
This week I was intending on doing De Bruyne to Son but De Bruyne was rested midweek and Man City needing to react. Also Man United lost Varane to injury so I’ve decided to roll and have 2 FTs during the international break. I lost some value since yesterday but I don’t want price changes governing my decisions!
I liked what I saw from Spurs last night and I need another week to see how they set up! I do however love the Reguilon, Son and Moura positioning! Son is definitely coming in for De Bruyne and I am now thinking about the Aubameyang to Kane move (GW16 Kane to Ronaldo)
The team lineup is pretty straight forward, with Livramento first bench …. I am torn between Aubameyang and Salah for the captaincy! I went without Salah for the United game and it killed me and I don’t want it to be repeated, at the same time I don’t want fear governing my decisions- That’s not how I play FPL so its currently on Aubameyang, I might change though and tweet about it
good luck all
