Introduction

This is part 3 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.  The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change.  Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

Keith Spencer

Keith’s last 4 seasons overall ranks were 27k, 44k, 3k and an incredible 325th overall

Chris Tucker

Chris’s last 3 seasons overall rank were 41k, 17k and 1k

GW16 points: 45  (FPL average 37) Total points: 929, Overall Rank: 555k, green arrow: 8k Team Value: £102.5m

Strategy is FH18 and no chip usage in GW19, but aiming to field 11 players with doubles.

With that in mind, I don’t want to burn a transfer this week so I am looking to improve my defence. Here the obvious move is to remove the likely injured Taylor. Holding is an option given his excellent fixture against a terrible West Brom team, but given my strategy, my preference is to bring in a double gameweek player. So I am looking at Dallas, even though it may be a case of the ship has sailed.

Captaincy is on Bruno with Son vice (it’s only the early kick off that is putting me off the latter).

Best of luck to you all and Happy New Year.

Happy new year everyone!!!!

There isn’t anything to say about gw16 really, covid outbreaks last minute postponements. I was unlucky to have expensive players miss out and no bench to cover due to injuries hence the red.

I have made, as tweeted, 2 transfers. I offloaded Neco Williams who never plays and Lamptey who is always injured. I got in Maguire and Stones. Both Manchester clubs have BGw18 fixtures and a double in GW19 so i think they are the way to go. My plan is to not use any chips now as i believe i can field decent teams in both fixtures. Chips might come in handy later on. I am. Leaving a window open for a man city TC in gw19 if they hit form by then.

Captain is on Son

Ben Wooton

Ben’s last 4 seasons overall rank were 5k, 61k, 26k and 31k.

GW16 points: 48  (FPL average 37) Total points: 923, Overall Rank: 639k, green arrow: 62k Team Value: £104.7m

I was worried about game time due to Covid for Lookman and Cancelo.
Zaha plays next week and had a decent fixture this week so decided to get him in. I pondered Harvey Barnes, Raphina, Soucek and a couple of the Arsenal lads but went with gut feel.
Defensively I do want shot of Neco Williams.   I had considered Holding at Arsenal as a cheap option. Other options were Leeds, Alexander Arnold believe it or not, or a Man Utd defender.

I plan to FH next week.
