FPL team tips GW18 – FFGeek contributors show their GW18 teams part 1
Here’s part 1 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.
At the end of each commentary I’ve included a transfer summary.
Prakhar Patel

After a pretty decent game week, this is how the team looks currently.I have one free transfer and 0.9m in the bank which I am planning to carry on this week. Going without any Man City coverage for their tasty fixture against Crystal Palace is going to be a scary.
The team picks itself and captaincy is a strange one this week as I don’t have a standout candidate but it will be most probably Eden Hazard at home to Leicester.I will update the team on Twitter if I make transfers or a change in captaincy before the deadline.

GW17 review
So, I got 57 (-4 for Kola who got injured somehow) points this week, 14 points above the weekly average and a GW rank 800k. Plus I moved on to the second round of the cup 😊. A great first transfer with Snodgrass for Barkley. Snodgrass looked just fantastic, was very involved in almost every attack and got a goal and maximum bonus points, I hope there is more to come there.
My team had 6 returners and inside the 1 million gameweek mark but still a red arrow, small (only 235 places) but red, waiting again for getting back to top 10k.
GW18
I am waiting for some good news about Kola to have strong 11 starters, I don’t see a good reason to use my transfer and I will try save 2 FTs for the next GWk. McTominay must go, maybe for Paterson, as I have 1.3 ITB now with a great TV of 104.9m. Doherty and Keane will be first and second subs with tough home games (Doherty can return in attack but I just can’t see a CS).
About the armband
After an easy decision for Kane last week (a very late assist last week). A tricky one this week. I guess the best option for me will be Raheem who definitely will start this GW after only playing 25 minutes in a midweek game. Kane will come in as vice captain, but I have a feeling it’s Raheem’s week. Salah plays the best team outside the top 6!

Hello All!
So it mas a superb week for my team even though my captain choice failed me once again!
This year whenever I gone with my gut feeling it has really paid off so I will continue with it. This time it screams Dele Alli! I also wanted to take out Paterson and Jimenez as their fixtures are getting bad.
So 2 free transfers and a -4 hit this week
The third exit was Martial (I actually made the transfer before Joses departure which wasn’t good- I would have kept him otherwise).
I brought in Alli, Schurrle (fixtures are really turning for Fulham so I thought I’d give it a go) and Kamara (had to find the funds from somewhere but he does have decent gametime under Ranieri for a £4.3m player)
I really wanted the spurs double up for the festive season. Man City I am currently without until I have an indication of a definite starter.
Captain wise this week I am with Hazard as the false nine role suits him and I have rotation fears for Auba as he started the midweek cup game.

Sergio Torija

52 points in GW17 with 7 players returning, GW rank above the million and a green arrow is a decent week I suppose, although nothing special without any player in the double figures. Also my transfer of Bernardo Silva didn’t provide any direct points.
Planning to save this week, unless any last minute injury appears for one of the starting 11 players. Captaincy on Sterling, vice on Laca at the moment, but this might change, hopefully I don’t mess up…
