Introduction
This is part 3 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

Team for GW20 second hit of the season Lamptey+ De Bruyne OUT for Cancelo+Gundogan IN with 6.5m ITB. The extra cash is for Wood to Kane next GW, Bruno(c), benched Coufal and Wood as Newcastle look like very poor. OR 45K now I hope for another green arrow.
Good luck all!
transfer summary: Lamptey+ De Bruyne OUT for Cancelo+Gundogan IN
Here’s the team with the transfers confirmed
Avishek Majumdar

DGW 19 review
113 (-4) without playing a chip and up to 134k OR has to be fairly satisfying. KDB injury was a bit of a bummer but neither of the other premiums hauled big so that was ok.
GW 20
KDB had to go and after mulling over a lot of options like Grealish Foden Sterling and even Zaha, I brought in Gundogan. The guy looks fairly nailed, plus on penalties and is at a price range which allows you a few blanks. The transfer also leaves enough in the bank to move Brewster out for Kane next GW when Spurs take on Brighton.
Captaincy is a straightforward decision. Bruno it is.
I have a bit of a benching dilemma between Soucek and Dallas but for now I have gone with Dallas.
Cheers and good luck everyone!
Transfer summary: De Bruyne out Gundogan in.
Here is the team with the transfer made.
Chris Tucker
Chris’s last 3 seasons overall rank were 41k, 17k and 1k
GW19 points: 99 -8 (FPL average 74) Total points: 1,132, Overall Rank: 468k, green arrow 4k, Team Value: £102.5m
Chris has used his Free Hit Chip
My first thought for a De Bruyne replacement was Sterling; he is undoubtedly the premium City option ahead of their excellent run of fixtures.
However, I’ll after reflecting further, this does limit my ability to make improvements elsewhere in the team. The Gundogan move not only brings a form player in, but does at least allow for a Welbeck to Kane move next gameweek. So De Bruyne to Gundogan it will very likely be.
I would have considered a hit to bring Cancelo in for Dallas. Unfortunately, once the funds for Kane are put to one side, I am £0.2 short.
Here’s the team pre-transfers. Coufal will drop to second sub and be replaced by Gundogan.
Transfer summary: De Bruyne out Gundogan in
Here’s the team prior to any transfers being made
Sergio Torija
Sergio’s last 4 seasons were 2k, 596k, 17k and 21k
GW19 points: 81 on triple Captain (FPL average 74) Total points: 1,063, Overall Rank: 1,419k, red arrow 43k, Team Value: £102.3m
Sergio has used his Triple Captain Chip
You can hear Sergio on this weeks FFGeek Podcast
The first double gameweek of the year ended up as a big let down for me, with a score just above the average despite using the triple captain chip. It wasn’t just the fail on the triple captain that hindered my score, my benching decisions were not right either and I ended up leaving lots of points in there. A week to forget really, where I was hoping to move forward, but instead went a little backwards. I suppose, now need to look at the good side of things, and there is half of the season left to look forward and fix the mess of the first half of the season.
And that, of course, will need to start without De Bruyne who got injured last week. Rashford too, is flagged with an injury concern, so it is looking likely I will take a -4 this week. I am almost settled on bringing in Zaha, on which it is more of a gut feeling than any powerful footballing reasons. The second transfer should be to complete the third City spot. I suppose safe play would be to bring in Gundogan with the added benefit of freeing a lot of money, which is looking like the preferred move for many managers this week. However looking at my team and my likely targets for the couple weeks to come, I have nowhere to spend such an amount of money. This is leading me to pick Sterling instead, I know that player price has nothing to do with points return, but it really feels wrong to leave 6 or 8 million in the bank for a few weeks. Plus I suppose while Gundogan can surely tick along, if one of them could explode with a multiple return game surely it has to Sterling. Decision made, Zaha and Sterling it is, not pushed on prices so will wait until tomorrow to make them.
As for captaincy, I will be playing it easy this week with Fernandes, vice to Sterling.
Good luck everyone
transfer summary: De Bruyne out and Sterling in plus likely Rashford out and Zaha in
