Introduction

It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live

I have removed Gallagher for Cornet. Gaining a game or two is main reason here.

I will likely Triple Captain Salah , but may yet Captain Alexander Arnold or Robertson or Robbo.

I also have -4 option of getting Maupay out for Weghorst , but I am not sure yet. He would likely get points back over the next week but not sure he’s much of an upgrade on Cancelo, Bowen or Coutihno one gamers. In fact keeping Digne hedges my luck with Watford player Dennis.

Transfer Summary: Gallagher out and Cornet in

Okish week for me, with a green arrow and 69 points. Like many others the green arrow would have been better without the Fernandes goal in the last minute of the game. Also I was quite unlucky with my DGW players in that Dunk got red carded and Varane feels unwell in the warmup and misses in like the only clean sheet for United since I’ve got him. I also benched Dawson who scored. So given all those negatives, coming out of the week with a green arrow is not too bad. De Gea as captain delivered, with more returns from Bowen*2, Ronaldo, Foden and Alexander Arnold.

Now we move into a much bigger DGW in 26, which we must attack. I had two free transfers saved which are destined for what will be a popular move of Ronaldo out and Salah in. I’ve ended up taking a hit that I will get onto in a bit.
The way to attack the way is whether you play the triple captain or the bench boost, my team was nowhere near a bench boost, so simple decision to me. TC on Salah, not going to reinvent the wheel on this one.

As for how to bring in Salah, originally, the idea was to remove Foden to make space for Salah, which would provide money for virtually any striker but Kane. This would possibly mean playing Sissoko, which despite the double I am sick of. Plus not ideal to completely go away from the Man City attack. Plans changed then, I keep Foden and remove Sissoko, which leaved 5.2m for a striker, how convenient, J Rodriguez comes at that price and has back to back double gameweeks (if he plays, and it is Burnley attack). So not that I expect the world here, but even the appearance points and maybe a return over four would do, and then he can be buried to the bench at his price. I made these transfers on Wednesday night.

Then, I’ve been having a bit of a think about what I could potentially do for GW27, which is both a blank week (Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea) and a double week (Burnley). I am reasonably well setup for the week, I will be able to field a more than decent eleven with even one or two subs. So no need to free hit for sure, and I could use the free move to fix any issue from GW26 or potentially bring in Pope for De Gea for the double?
To do that I would need to release some money, so I’ve gone into taking a hit this week to remove Varane, who again I wanted out asap, and will bring in an Arsenal defender for their great double and upcoming schedule. I was close to White for his nailness and cheaper price, but couldn’t resist on the potential of Tierney to deliver also in attack. The fact that Arsenal are out of cups and european competition, hopefully boosts his potential and the chances for injuries that he is a regular with. At least last for the double please.

So my final team for DGW26 has 8 double gameweek players with Cancelo, Foden and Bowen as single weekers. Antonio and Dawson in the bench.

Captain this week is the biggest of the year since playing my triple captain chip, and it will be Salah. Most of us will be together on this. Vice currently on Ramsdale to not repeat team with TAA.

Good luck all and may you get your biggest score of the season :)

Transfer summary: Ronaldo out for Jay Rodriguez in and Sissoko out for Salah in
