Introduction
This is part 3 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

So GW38 is here. I love the last week of the season. All the games at the same time in an adrenaline rush of FPL points.
I’m reasonably close to a top 10k finish (10 points off it according to live FPL). It would be great to get there but I think I’ll be happy with a top 20k finish considering my OR was 4.5 million after GW2.
I regret getting Greenwood last week as it now means I only have one free transfer this week when I could do with 2. However, I think getting Greenwood was not a wrong choice, it just didn’t work out.
I’d like Mane and Bamford this week. Mane as a bit of a differential (although everyone seems to be bringing him in!) in a team that has something to play for and Bamford as a rank protector in a team that won’t be allowed to sit on the beach and is playing a PL game in front of home fans for the first time in a while. Bruno Fernandes and Calvert Lewin (DCL) would make way for them.
Bruno because of likely rotation due to the Europa League final on Wednesday and Calvert Lewin because his form isn’t great and he’s at City (although Everton’s away form is good and at least he’s a pretty much nailed on starter). However to get both Mane and Bamford would be a -4. At this stage of the season I cannot justify that. So my transfer will be Mane in, Bruno out, the deciding factor probably being Bruno’s rotation. I’ll just have to hope Leeds stay quiet!

A bit of a benching headache:
- Digne away at City or Taylor away at the Blades. There seems to be a lot of goals on the final day so I will go with the attacker in Digne. (I could keep Bruno and move Digne to Robertson but I think Mané is more fun for the final day).
- Calvert Lewin (DCL) away at City or Iheanacho (Nacho) at home vs Tottenham. I think I need to go Nacho, as he is playing for something and is at home. Nacho is also in form but Rodgers benched him for some stupid reason vs Chelsea. Benching perhaps the most in form player in the league over past two months is not smart in my opinion but what do I know. This Nacho/DCL decision is very 50/50 and I hope I get some luck.

So here it is, the final team of the season and to be honest I’m glad! Not been a good one for me, it’s been a very template season and that’s not the type of player I am so I have my worst rank since the first time I played. Is it too much of a cop out to blame COVID haha!?
Anyway, my plans for the final week are to bring in Salah. I can see him hauling massive for the final game so need him in my team. There are 2 ways of me doing this and both involve a -4 (god I love a points hit). Option 1: Bale out for Salah and to fund it Greenwood out for Willock. Option 2: Kane out for Bamford and Zaha out for Salah.
I’m leaning towards option 2 because I really want Bamford for the West Brom game. I’m worried about Greenwood’s game time with the final coming up and just Bale in general which would be negated by going option 1. Tough call so I may ask the Slack community for their thoughts.
Either way I will be bringing in Salah and captaining him so that decision is easy.
