Introduction
This is part 3 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more. The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change. Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

Costas has used his first wildcard
Wildcard well played… In the end! I got very stressed on Saturday as all the players I transferred out (Digne, James Rodriguez, Rashford, Werner)returned for 5 assists and 3 goals! Luckily the Spurs pair, Saiss and Martinez covered for all of them and now my team is set up for the next gws.
It was the first time I start the season without a green arrow so I had to press the WC button. The International break gave me the opportunity to get players on board before the price rises and increase team value. 1.2 mil OR rise is a great deal and 300k gw rank.
The James Rodriguez to Pulisic was a risky move but Pulisic checked all the boxes. Cheap for his value, 3% ownership, rested during the break and Southampton at home. James just gave an assist but wIth Richarlison out for 3 games now he will step forward and maybe on pens. I will have to monitor his situation again.
I preferred Grealish instead of Barkley even though Barkley seems to be playing much forward as I wanted to play it safe (Barkley burnt me in the past) and it is easier to downgrade to him rather than having to go up to Grealish. If he continues his form and is on pens ill defintely make the switch.
I am not regretting the Rashford and Werner moves as Kane and Son also delivered. Rashford has a very busy schedule as well and you never know which United is going to turn up. On the other hand I do not expect Spurs to continue this fine form so the double uP stays until gameweek 8 at least.
This week I am banking my transfer for know unless there is an injury. Team is very nicely set up this week, even the 1st bench option Bissouma with already 11 shots at home to West Brom is in contention.
Captain is currently Salah. Always good at Anfield and everyone knows that with Van Dijk and Allison out Liverpool will have to keep scoring 2+ goals a week to win. If Kanes ownership increases a lot and is a popular captain or even if he is rested on Thursday I might give the C to him. Maupay is even a good option for the risky ones with double figure hauls in each of this 2 previous home games
