Introduction
Here’s a few very early drafts to give you some ideas for your FPL teams. They will change prior to the GW1 deadline of August 5 although there will be updated versions before then.
Scott Taylor
Scott’s last 5 seasons ORs were 55k, 12k, 15k, 1k and 12k
Here’s the changes since my team on the site about a week ago
I changed James to Zinchenko as Chelsea have been so disappointing defensively in pre-season. Perisic to Dalot due to Perisic’s lack of minutes in pre-season and United’s improved form. The same preseason minutes problem for Haaland to Kane as well as Kane’s excellent form. Eriksen has yet to play for United in preseason so I’ve moved him to Mahrez.
I had money to upgrade the keeper situation so did so. I will have to sell one of the Arsenal 4 I now have though!

Kev’s last 4 seasons overall ranks were 8k, 52k, 48k and 6k
Here is where my draft is right now.
I should disclaim that I tinker A LOT preseason. I am not a guy that sets a team and leaves it alone for 5 weeks then checks in just before GW1. So this team will likely change.
Right now I am toying around with the idea for Alisson as the third pool as opposed to Luis Diaz or Robertson. I am not sure I like it. However it unlocks a whack of money. Alisson got 176 pts. The most by 18 over the next best keeper and only 10 pts less than Robertson. He is an elite keeper that gets cleans, saves and bonus (which is hard to do in that team). Mostly though, he unlocks some money to attack the first few weeks being priced at only 5.5M.
Note: in my Luis Diaz over Alisson mind team I have Ederson as well for double City Defence.

Alex Ball
Alex’s last 8 seasons overall ranks were 27k, 3k, 312k, 523k, 17k, 10k, 28k and 3k
So a few changes since my last draft.
Players I don’t see leaving my team except for injury- Cancelo, Alexander-Arnold, Salah, Luis Diaz and Jesus.
The big change is possibly selling Haaland. I have been a bit spooked by Pep’s comments about how carefully he’ll be handled minutes wise. Kane would be a natural replacement but hopefully the Community Shield gives us a bit more confidence in Haaland.
With the abundance of cheap midfielders coming to the fore I’m currently liking the extra depth of going Bailey and Neto instead of a 4.5 mid and having Justin on the bench who rotates nicely with them when they have poor fixtures.
Jack Grealish is a bit of a punt due to his performances and Peps positive words in pre-season. I’m also less keen on the Chelsea double up in defence due to their abject performances in preseason.

Avishek Majumdar
Avishek’s last 5 seasons ORs were 62k, 32k, 13k, 45k and 64k
I made the following changes since my previous draft on the site which is 2 1/2 weeks old.
Firstly with Neco Williams looking like a nailed £4.0m defender I put him in for his £4.0m defender namesake at Man Utd Brandon.
Chilwell not being in the last friendly meant I have switched him to Reece James. I decided my third Liverpool player would be Robertson not Diaz so upgraded Jonny of Wolves and downgraded Diaz to Rashford. Rashford now looks pretty certain to start for Manchester United and good value.
Martinelli is also looking more certain to start so I have switched Bruno Guimarães for him. Andreas of Fulham is now the number 1 £4.5m midfielder so he’s replaced Chukwuemeka who looks to have no hope of starting for Villa. Kane has replaced Haaland due to Pep’s rather cautious comments about his gametime.
