I am writing this before the MUN game, to help Geek get something out.
As of now the only games that are postponed are Wolves/Arsenal and Leeds/Villa.
My plan was initially to go Lacazette to Ronaldo. Then the Arsenal game was called off. The sale of Lacazette does help as I will only be out two players. The issue is that one of them is Ramsdale and my back up keeper is currently injured.
For the keepers I will have 0.5M to use after the Ronaldo transfer. I can move Foster to any 4.5M keeper. Likely I would go to Dubravka as his fixtures are decent. As poor as a side as they are right now, he does have the odd big game. That being said its not a great situation. I don’t really want this guy to be my keeper at all, even if it is just for one week.
The other option is to sell Ramsdale for a keeper up to 5.3M. That gives me access to De Gea. The more I look into this the more I prefer it.
- De Gea is way better than Dubravka.
- Ramsdale has blanks in 20, 25 AND 27! So he is losing his appeal now.
- After this week, I think Foster is due back from injury and I suspect he will go back to being the #1. I would much prefer my 2nd keeper to only be 4.0M.
My other decision is if I want to delay the Ronaldo swap one week. I will see how the Newcastle game goes but if he plays 90 in it, perhaps this move makes sense, as he plays again vs Burnley only 3 days later and then again only 4 days after that against Wolves. So he could be rotated next game. Hmmm. Will I captain him? Perhaps. I think I will probably do it.
Captain I guess is Ronaldo but Alexander Arnold is tempting.

As I write this we’ve lost the Leeds/Villa and Arsenal/Wolves games – this takes out four players for me. My plan is to simply switch Watkins to Antonio. I then have the option for a -4 to use 0.3 for either an upgrade for Foster (4.0) – only Bachmann at 4.2 is a viable option or upgrade Ramsdale (4.8), which gives a few options with De Gea at 5.1 the current standout.
A rested Salah as captain against a depleted and tired Leicester, Son, the pick of my players with one of the first kick offs, to be vice.

Free Hit has reverted back to my current team and I currently have a full playing team with a sub so hopefully am able to roll the FT to better prepare for any upcoming DGW now I’m a FH down. Obviously any more postponements could change everything.
