FPL tips – FFGeek contributors show their teams for GW2 – part 1

Here’s the start of the series where 10 or soFPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site  with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont covering early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more

It’s the first time I’ve done it so forgive the formatting if it doesn’t work out 100%

FPL TIPS

1 transfer – the likely injured Zaha out for Ramsey. This was a tough one regarding who to bring in. Mooy was the main rival for the Welshman but I was really impressed by Ramsey’s cameo on Friday night and I’d back him to start against Stoke in a box to box role. There’s still no definitive news on Zaha’s period out but it sounds like it could be around 4 weeks. This hasn’t been confirmed though I hasten to add! His price looks set to drop tonight and at this early stage in the season with budgets so tight I didn’t want to lose even £0.1m.

Ramsey comes straight in for Zaha and I’ve gone for Mee over Dawson in defence with his home fixture. Lukaku is my captain with him playing a Swansea defence that somehow managed a clean sheet against Southampton’s 29 shots.

Joseph Crilley

Joseph finished with an overall rank of 13k last season

fpl tips

My transfer was Zaha to Mooy so I can save some money for transfer(s) next week when we have some more information about players.
I brought Mooy in because he’s the key man in a team with excellent fixtures so looks good value at 5.5.
Armband is currently on Kane as I fancy him to do the business against a depleted Chelsea side. I will be very tempted to play safe with Lukaku but Kane’s london derby record of 19 goals in 26 games is hard to resist

Alex Ball

Alex finished in 10k in 16/17 28k in 15/16 and 3k in 14/15

GW2 team

fpl tips

Zaha to Mooy for my free transfer this week just to save some dollar.  I like his potential for £5.5m and their excellent fixtures

Shayne Ellis

Shayne finished with an overall rank of 8k last season

GW2 team:

fpl tips

I transferred in Vokes for chicharito, with West Ham’s disappointing performance last weekend and Vokes scoring 7 goals in his last 6 appearances and now being Burnley’s main man with the sale of Gray, can’t resist his overall value of 6mill.

Also I captained Mane, Palace were poor defensively and Liverpool at home, edged my decision over Lukaku who is my vice cap.

Keith Spencer

Keith finished with an incredible rank of 325 last season

GW2 team.  No transfers this week
