There’s nothing I can write about BGW29 that hasn’t already been written. The dampest of squibs. I somehow got myself a red arrow despite using my FH chip. Simply, so few points were scored it would have been better to have played with half a team, but I only had three players, so there wasn’t really an option at the time. We all knew the matches were weak, but nobody could have predicted such a poor showing. Enough of that. Onward…
Looking Forward
Opportunities to gain rank are slipping away now. Recent doubles, blanks and chips haven’t worked out for me, so to stand any chance of a top 100k finish I need to get the prep for the last batch of doubles and my last two chips bang on.
My second WC was potentially on the cards this week, depending how the DGW34 fixtures fell, but the way it turned out means I’m already sitting on a decent amount of doublers, so WC35 to prepare for a BB in GW37 makes the most sense.
It’s worked out pretty well, only I’ve left myself with a dilemma this week, as I can’t cover all the high EO players.
