This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. In the future it also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.

Yaniv Salomon

Yaniv finished with an overall rank of 4k last season and 8k in 17/18

GW1 points: 83 (average 65) Total points 83 Gameweek rank 750k, Overall Rank: 750k, arrow n/a, Team Value: £100.0m

Hi guys, so after crazy week when 83 points and 7 returns gave me a 750k rank (I started so good with 7/8 and then Lloris, Jota and Perez disappointed me)

.So very bad call with Lloris who plays now City away.. but I am patient now with the transfer, and will roll it to Make 2/3 in GW3.

Hope the Bournemouth assets will return better before they will become United assets..

Going against the polls with Raheem as my Captain, while I think he is just in amazing form, while Liverpool may have difficulty after the Istanbul game , especially Salah played 120 minutes..

Good luck all guys!

Transfer summary:  carrying over a free transfer

Chris Tucker

Chris’s last 2 seasons overall rank were 17k and 1k

GW1 points: 85 (average 65) Total points 85 Gameweek rank 593k, Overall Rank: 593k, arrow n/a, Team Value: £100.0m

I’m in a bit of a tiz over my team. Having seen the Friday night game and highlights of the Saturday games, I went on holiday to America first thing Sunday, and have not been able to catch anything of the Sunday games. And since then I’ve been busy at theme parks, rather than reading around FPL! As a result, I feel more ill-informed than I would like.

My plan was to save my transfer this week in anticipation of removing my Bournemouth assets next week. But this has been thrown into doubt by Deulofeu being hooked at half-time. I view that as a pressing need that needs addressing, particularly as Watford seem to have continued their awful form from the back end of last season. Current thinking is a straight swap to Pukki. They may have been well beaten, but I thought Norwich looked like they will score goals; Pukki is invariably involved when they do and could be a decent punt. Next fixture is a good entry point.

Jet lag means I’m still waking up at 4am local time (9am UK time). I’ll likely make my final decision – stick or Pukki twist – then! Below is my team as it stands without that change.

Best of luck everybody!

Jordan Sadler

Jordan finished in 14k last season and 76k in 17/18

GW1 points: 80 (average 65) Total points 80 Gameweek rank 1,031k, Overall Rank: 1,031k, arrow n/a, Team Value: £100.0m

Lloris + Perez out Martial + Ryan in – 4 points.  Good luck everyone!
